    • Yeh, as I mentioned in the post wasn't sure if I should post separately but figured was a significant price drop so probably worth its own.

wot … i bought not long ago for 60 … fml.

  • -2

Ah fks sake. I ordered 2nd June with the $34 1K version. I can't get a refund for my $9.50 can I? Oh well.

    • +1

Yeh me too, but I have CC price protection. I guess options are reach out on Amazon live chat (don't know if would have any luck since it's a week later and 3rd party seller), or message the seller and see if they'd offer a refund of the diff. Otherwise, it's within 30 days so could order another and return it under the first order if it's worth the hassle.

      • Haggling with live chat now haha. It's only $9 but it's the principle 😂

    • +1

      Return and buy again

      • -1

        Return postage will hit you.

  • amazing mouse this one. I have 2, battery is stellar and the accuracy is spot on.

    Pretty light.

    • -4

Pretty light? For a mouse this is bloody heavy not something I want personally under 50 is much better

      • I guess I have strong wrists then, I find it pretty light.

        • +2

Thats what happens to your wrists when you spend too much time playing with your….. Mouse!

          • @BatmanAU: Yet someone is clearly doubting me.

            • +1

@MasterScythe: probably because someone is thinking that 68g is too much for a gaming mouse but its pretty light compared to some other common gaming mice like the Logitech G305 (89g), Logitech G502(121g), G Pro Superlight (63g),Razer Deathadder Essential (96g)

              • +1

@MrChumps: G305 came out 7 years ago, times have changed.

                • @beeze: I said common, not current. Also the G502 came out 11 years ago.

              • @MrChumps: Thats what I thought, coming from a pre 'superlight' logitech.

I don't even notice the weight in my bag anymore, and on a hard mousemat, it's butter.

      • Depends what you're used to I guess. Switching between my MX Master 3 with it's 143g makes the VT9Pro feel pretty light to me.

Curious what are some good sub-50g options?

        • +1

Darmoshark M3XS Pro, its 45g and light af, saved my wrist

        • +1

I personally have the Hitscan Hyperlight, it's almost the same as the ATK F1 Extreme I think? Some people claimed one is the knock off the of the other.

it's basically to me like a Logitech G Pro wireless without the back hump, and good for clawish grip, and I like that it doesn't have the rubbery texture that wears out overtime.

      • I like heavy mouses like the RAT

  • +1

    Thanks OP

How is for productivity and CAD work particularly?

    • +3

Reasonable question. The neg votes are unnecessary.

      • +3

some people just love to neg without explanation

    • +1

I have 2 for a reason, 1 is in my gaming bag, the other is on my work machine.
I don't do CAD, but I do some image editing, so need pixel accurate movements, and I find it flawless with the basic 1Khz dongle.

I'm particularly fussy about sode buttons and middle click, I want them very 'clicky', but at the same time, quite soft; and this meets that need.
It has near identical side button layouts to logitechs; where your thumb rests somewhere around the middle of the two sidebuttons, so you can rock your finger forward for one, or backward for the other; no need to actually move your grip position.
I palm during the day, and semi-claw during accurate work, or gaming.

  • I may have a defective model but it takes a while to wake up the computer with this mouse. This is compared to Logitech MX 3S that wakes it instantly.

  • What's the difference between the 1k and 4k?

    • +12

      3k

    • +1

My understanding from just a quick peek is it's the exact same mouse but the 1k and 4k is just the wireless poll rate (apparently the 4k does 8k wired too).

    • +1

The 4K is the 1k, with a second dongle.

The 1k can do 4k with the dongle. They did them as a combo deal for a while, it's how I got mine.

  • +1

Thanks bought the 4k, let see compare with my Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed, a bit old and seem start to have some clicking issue.

  • +1

Thanks op. Got the 4k. Was in market for new mouse.

  • They increased the VT3Pro Max price :(

    • +1

So seems Mid year sale is over and pre voucher prices are back up now..

  • Thanks OP, been using this for work. It's actually really good. Cheap Chinese mouse/peripherals on the rise.
