    just saw this.
    on Amazon US $201.82
but not sure if G8 Power Lite is good or not..

    • Its fine;
People love to neg things without considering their purpose.

The 'power' range is already cut down, with a focus on battery life.

The power lite was designed imo, to be a semi-disposable workhorse.

Battery life out the ass, and a price point that lets you only be mildly disapointed if you drop it off a scaffold.

  • cheaper on Amazon

    • thanks. just added in description but it is not local stock, overseas model with shipping charges.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing. You get what you pay for

This phone was a disappointment. I thought I was getting a deal, but you really do get what you pay for.

    Pros:
    - Android 9
    - Insane battery life
    - Great fingerprint sensor

    Cons:
    - Mediocre camera
    - WiFi and LTE cap at 34mbps (my Internet is 130mbps)
    - No compass sensor
    - Painfully slow

Invest in a better phone. Motorola has disappointed me greatly with this one.

      must have been carrier branded

I'm not sure what anyone would/should draw from a single, random individual thinking badly of it. Too many variables and the ultimate small sample size.

Noticed on the specs for the G8 Lite and G8 that the G8 Lite is listed as Android 9, whereas the G8 is Android 10.
Not sure if Motorola would provide updates, as its not something they seem to do well.
Just something to possibly be aware of.

    • good point. Android 9 can be issue for some, but ok for students or non banking applications

  • Android 10 is starting to roll out to the G8 Power lite-first in Brazil.
