The less you spend, the bigger the discount, makes sense

    • Maybe margins are smaller on higher priced items

    • Smaller percentage cashback, larger total cashback.
I agree that spending just over $500 is the best bang for buck return

The best one was the last Humm promotion where you spend 100, get 50 back. They sensibly don't have that option again this time around.

        • Yep. That was a ripper.

  • Credit check required for the big bucks. To get your approved limit up higher.

  • Is this like Afterpay or Zippay? Will this effect your credit score ?

I bought FXL shares at $1.32 so hopefully these promos will push back the share price where it should be

    • Haha same

      • I hope it becomes like sezzle, pray for me

    • Loved this comment! Have u topped up after recent dip? bought in under $1 and sold at a profit. Love what they have going on current management too!

      • No i didn't buy more after dipping, no capital :(

I'm going to buy a puppy and call it flexi because its an absolute dog stock that's what it is!

They’ve only approved $250 credit for me. And I can’t increase my limit because my employer’s phone number isn’t in their approved format. Going to skip this deal.

  • <Edit>

Checked the comments in the last promo.

The T&C of Humm don't seem to allow it for buying gift cards. :-(

    So sad.

  • How many times can I use this?

    • T&Cs. Limit of one humm cashback per customer in promotional period, which will be applied to first eligible purchase.

Xxxx, can you beat 598 delivered Hisense 173 upright freezer?
    Let me know ASAP.
    Thanks Xxxx

    Hi Zzzz

I can certainly meet that price, and I have stock here ready and able to be delivered as soon as Monday. I can't beat it by anything significant, that is a good price you have been offered, however if you are willing to deal us then I am happy to help you out.

    Cheers

    Xxxx

    Mate, you’re on.
Only consideration is I must use humm for their cash back deal.
    Zzzz

Unfortunately that would be a cash/EFT price. Happy to help you with a deal however finance does incur the store a few fees I would be unable to absorb at that price. More than happy to do this for you at $649.  The store is about to close for the day, but if you would like to email me back a photo of your ID and your phone number I will get one of my team to call through first thing in the morning and assist you in processing.

    Cheers

    Xxxx

    hmmm web page said…
‘One of the great features of humm is that you should not pay any more for a Good or Service at a Merchant when using humm than you would pay if you were not using humm.
If a Merchant indicates that you will have to pay more or tries to charge you more (for example by charging a higher price of the good or service, not applying a discount or rebate or by charging or bundling additional fees or charges), we want to know about it. So please tell us by contacting us at (08) 8232 2828.”

    • So did you contact to get a better rate.

  • Decided to apply and got declined, which is slightly nuts, considering my financial situation.

Humm are definitely the worst financial services company I've ever dealt with.

S—tty deals … S—tty risk assessment procedures … Just totally s—t in all respects.

  • i could only boost my limit up to $250 which is still under $500 . so if i now click on apply for ""buy big things up to 5k"" ill have to give them access to my bank statements again but will there be a Credit check and entry on my file? how often do they give you the option to boost the credit limit with a bank statement.? i might have to wait until then thus unable to participate in this promo.

  • if you do a bpay with humm and pay it and account balance in full by end of months will you get charged any fees?

  • Pretty much a scam offer. Not surprising coming from flexirent.

I signed up and got approved for $300. To get more, you need to login to their site with your banking details and provide 90 days of bank statements to prove salary. No Thanks.
