  • Not all heroes wear capes. Thanks OP - ordered one!

  • come on the black dial w/ steel bracelet

you give deal, as trump would say

  • …or at least a Steel bracelet.

Seiko have announced a new series of "mini Alpinists" with all the much loved SARB033 hallmarks: 38mm Case, 6R35, Sapphire Glass and Screw-down Crown etc. Retails in AU at around 1k, keen to see it appear on Starbuy.

  • Prefer the dial on this rather than the green dial of the Seiko Alpinist SARB017. Tempted….

  • Budget for a nice strap as well for this one, if you are anything like me the deployant clasp Seiko use is way too small and digs into your wrist.

Great deal! I pulled the trigger and ordered this. Couldn't resist this Special Edition Alpinist at such a great price. Thanks OP!

Damn… Could not resist this either. Love both Seiko n Starbuy.

  • Can someone please advise where to buy a suitable Steel bracelet for this watch.
    Thanks in advance.

    • Amazon, search MILTAT. Quality stuff

  • Thank You,I'll check it out.

  • Thanks OP….got one.Now for the $86USD steel band from Strapcode to complete the picture.

Love this watch. Wearing it right now…

  • i feel like i will have fomo if i don't buy this one. Plus Starbuy are awesome resellers.

  • Gone back to AUD 899 at 12:25 Sydney time 12/Oct/20.

  • What are people using for a Steel bracelet on this watch? (Yes I bought one)
Invicta Prodiver? Sinn 556/356? Parnis? Submariner? Miltat? Strapcode Super Oyster?
    I don't want a heavy bulky watchband….Thanks in advance.

  • Thanks cecch24,I'd seen the Parnis and it's certainly good value.I also like the Uncle Seiko Rice Bead offering. It's nice to see that the Alpinist has so many steel bracelet options.I received my new SPB123J today and it sure is a nice looking timepiece…..even with the green leather band.

  • Got mine today. This looks great, I understand the reviews talk abour 6r35 hasnt been through the test of time. But when did seiko made a huge mistake on a movement. The combo of ivory with the green is amazing. Lume is good for a watch belonging to this category. Again, no comparison with Turtle.

Starbuy is as always the go to place for anyone who is looking for a seiko/citizen in australia.

Anyone got a fred constant? Looks pretty nice.

I received mine today. Beautiful watch. I was going to switch my Miltat Strapcode Super 3D Oyster bracelet that I have on my Sarb017 onto this but I actually quite like the supplied green leather strap. I think I will keep it on the leather.

For anybody interested, this is the Oyster bracelet I have for my Alpinist Sarb017
