  • Damnn, just bought this one used 2 weeks ago.
Very quiet card and perfect look for white builds.

Kinda doubt anyone has bought a 2070s for under $400?

        • yeah cheapest I could haggle down to was $420 for Asus dual turbo

@Femelo: You are one dense melon

How you are getting $566.10? It's $582.40 including $10.53 shipping for me

Edit: incognito shows $566.10 + shipping (shipping is not free at least for QLD)

oh my bad, i thought it is free shipping…i adjusted the listing..

  • Not yet

  • Dunno why they're claiming it's 1-click OC when that is a driver implementation meaning all 20 series cards have it …

    • In my experience their software is pretty crappy aswell, the gpu fan curve and 1 click oc option resets on startup for some reason :/

      • There's a setting to run the OC software at startup, but yes when you OC your card it doesn't modify the cards VBIOS to retain that.

        • Is that in the software's settings? Because I have the option to run on startup toggled on but still have to set all the adjustments again every startup

          • @iDrownFish: That's the setting that should be handling it for you, so assuming you haven't disabled it from launching at step elsewhere (eg. Task Manager), consult with their support resources to see if you can rectify what's happening.

  • What sort of performance can we expect if we spend 600-ish bucks for new upcoming card?

    • That should get you a 3060 Ti , we don't have exact specs but expect about 30% faster than this.

      • 30% even 25% sounds great!

Yeah it's gonna be a massive upgrade from my crappy old 1060!

  • Genuine question, whats the difference between this one and https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/571683

    • 2 fans vs 3 fans

      • A bit too late for me to regret

        • What do you regret about ?

        • MSI fans are dual ball bearing whereas Galax are sleeve. Might have to undervolt the MSI card, especially if you have bad case airflow, but it'll be a lot more durable in the long run.

Hold tight 3060 ti incoming within 2-3 months. Will smash this for around the same price.

    • Yes the rumors are 3060Ti price (RRP) will start around AUD $550-$600 and will be somewhere around RTX 2080Super

      • What will happen to used 2080 super pricing you think? $500?

    • +1

or wait a month for 3070 and further 20x price drops.

    • More like 4-6 weeks.

Very impressive experience with shopping express. It's been 10 days since I got my invoice, yet I still haven't get dispatch notice. Don't trust the 'dispatch from warehouse in 24hrs' crap.

    • Same here. Ordered RAM from them only to be dispatched after 11 business days. Terrible!

      • 7 business days and counting. I'm considering request a refund and done with it next week.

    • I got mine dispatched within 48h (also missed the 24h … but still ok. )

      • It depends on the stock level I guess. But the communication is close to none.

  • I bought this card at the last deal. Like it. The front is white plastic and the top is white metal. Looks good in my NZXT510 (white). It's super quiet as the fans turn completly off when not needed. The RGB can be turned off or changed (didn't mange to integrate with MSI Mystic but the setting as stand alone is fine and retains the colour when I turn off the PC). Performance wise it's a 2070 super … didn't try overclocking.
