Any restaurants and cafes - the EFTPOS terminals are assigned a merchant code that indicates whether the business is a restaurant/cafe or not (and hence whether the card will work or not).
Is it literally any restaurant and cafe ? That is, for example, I can be confident that I can use it at the specific Yogurt Rice place that I like ?
I tried at some milk tea places and also Starbucks, and it did work.
They automatically cancelled my order at 8:00am sharp today. And therefore invalidating my shopback and cashrewards eligibility. Of advertised amount.
Do not buy from them as they will obtain all you name, address, phone number, and credit card details!
Did they give a reason why they cancelled your order?

Their site is a bit broken. The Where to Use link doesn't show where the card can be used, and How to Use for digital cards link doesn't work either.

Cashback probably won't work as the promo code is not listed on the ShopBack site.
I had the same issue then set it to ‘show mobile site’ (I’m on a phone) and it worked straight away.
Yeah, on desktop, need to click Go Digital first, then when you click How to Use, then clicking the Digital button will show you the relevant content. Still, pretty bad UX.
When going by the shopback site - it’s an entirely different site…. has ‘him’ ‘her’ cards but no restaurant… is this legit?
On desktop, after clicking through ShopBack, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, there is a RESTAURANT link, which will take you to the relevant page. Having said that, not sure whether that would register the click through ShopBack though.
Note the OP mentioned this can be used for restaurants that accept EFTPOS. This is only if you purchase a physical card. Purchasing a digital card is a MasterCard.
Also, clicking through to purchase the card has the following note:
- Not valid at fast food or quick service restaurants.
EDIT: Actually, it seems you may be able to purchase a digital EFTPOS card. Bit hard to say without actually making the purchase.
It is a digital Mastercard but is there any restaurant that accept contactless EFTPOS only but not Mastercard PayPass?
There is no contactless EFTPOS (yet). Those always go through Mastercard / Visa debit.
I can't even get them to sms me my verification code. I'm very upset. I bought and tried to get the app set up. They don't even reply to my messages. Glad I only bought a $50 card. I'm so angry at their refusal to respond.
On my 3rd order, I haven't received the SMS to the gift card.
Got my sms code.. and added to gpay. Will test this out.
