Yes, up to 3 years.
I’m not sure if under some situations you can’t apply codes though if you have 24+ months on your account…in the past I’ve had issues doing so even if it wouldn’t have taken me past 3 years, and had to wait until my plan was back under 2 years before adding extra codes. That may have changed but. Just activated two codes to see me through to end Jan 2023 and that final 3 months would have been across a 24 month threshold.

Did you let your current subscription completely expire?@original15: No I didn’t let it expire I had already had like a year on it still to go, but in the past you could get that extra month and this time around I didn’t get that option but maybe it’s random as well.

I've had issues with late redemptions from these guys, where I've gone to redeem and the code has ended up being resold I'm guessing.
They refunded me but does seem pretty dodgie.
Does Game Pass Ultimate and just normal Game Pass have the same amount of games and titles?

Game pass ultimate includes Gold( multiplayer and the monthly free games, which is lame as hell lately) and game pass for PC also. So normal Game Pass would be all you need.
Game Pass Ultimate will also include an EA Play membership, as of next month.

Ultimate also includes Game Pass for PC, Xbox Live Gold, EA Play and xCloud streaming to android devices, so you get an insane amount of extra value.
The cloud streaming isn't available in Australia at the moment though

You currently have a subscription from a different region. If it still doesn't work, please contact customer support."It says 'Worldwide' on the cdkeys page. I don't really want to mess with the region settings. Anyone else ran into this issue that can assist please?

It takes 30 seconds to change your region on the account website. I’ve done it many times without messing with the console.
But there is no need to change your region. Codes from other regions can be claimed online using a VPN. Microsoft only region locking only goes far as checking your current ip. There is a discord group which you can pay other regions to give you games
I got the same error on the microsoft website. Redeeming through the mobile app (via microsoft store link) worked for me.
Ordered and redeemed my code on the Microsoft site, no issues.

Check your billing history. Mine said that but it looked to be a MS glitch as the code had applied to my account and I got the extension. If it’s not in your billing history, put a support call in with CD Keys
Yep, it was a glitch - I double checked the history and the extra three months had been applied!

Bar seriously just download the Xbox app on your phone. Log in, and go to the browse menu. At the top there is a "redeem a code" option.Or I could just do it all on my Xbox. Why would using the app on a phone help ? The code is invalid.

You can stack 3 years worth I think, so just redeem it now and you extend your membership. I just looked and I'm good until September 21, and I have a 2 year Telstra deal coming up in November so I should be ok.
Just putting it out there, might be worth stocking up. With the addition of ea play next month and then buying our a bunch of studios, it is likely that prices might go up a little.

@BargainHeart: Thats what happened to me. After paypal payment it directs you back to website to complete transaction. Mine was still hanging in the cart after paypal. Finally got the keys straight away after confirmation
@jamba: Thanks for that info. I think my initial purchase didn't go through because I didn't go back to the website after paypal to confirm the transaction - I must have gotten distracted. I've put it through again on my cc and it worked straight away.

My Pringles can has no code under the foil, and their web page for claiming briefly flashes the form before replacing it with "sorry, please try again". How did you manage to do it?

Yes, it's all the same. Game Pass Ultimate is for PC, xbox one (s/x) and xbox series (s/x).
Thank you OP just bought 4 of these which take - I got my keys immediately from the website directly - put them straight into my subscription services and I now have Ultimate into late 2023.

Presumably they had a subscription paid until 2022 before they added another year.
