When was this model first released? Seems to have been around for a long time. Bose really know how tp stretch out a model range.
I purchased my Bose QC (I) in 2014… perform as good as the day I purchased them. Firmware kept up to date periodically and also work with Amazon Alexa and Amazon devices (with the latest software updates).
My only complaint is the cost for replacement of ear pad cushions. Bose charge about $40/pair for genuine parts replacement, yet these:

I live in a hot/humid climate and both the leather and the artificial leather kits last about the same length of time in my experience.

By no means the cheapest ever. Was $309 last year during Amazon prime sales and I bought it for $311 in March this year (before any cash back savings).
I would wait and see if Amazon prime will put these on sale again tomorrow.
