        I think It's not up-gradable the Ram in vostro laptops.You won't get vostro with 16Gb Ram with this price range. Have you noticed any new inspiration 5000/7000 serious i7 laptop with 2GB Graphics, 512GB NVMe, light weight and metallic finish for this price range ?

          @WNK: I got dell vostro 5490 i7, 8gb ram, 1 tb SSD for $849. I went and got another 8gb stick off amazon for $39 which makes my dell vostro under $900

              @WNK: Comparison says PS42 Modern-074 has a better graphics card and is thinner and smaller in size. On the other hand, Dell Vostro 5490 Business has a latest i7(faster) processor.
