  No Aptx support in this generation of headphone. I was told by TT the new BH 085's will have Aptx support and be out this month (as Australia don't get the BH 055's). Don't know the price point of the new BH 085's though.

    Note: This only matters if you're on Android or another AptX device, some Macs support it. If you're on iOS, this means nothing to you, no iOS device uses this codec.

    Running the TT-BH-085 with the TT-BA09 transmitter. Purchased back in August 2020 when they did advertised it with Aptx. Tested via youtube at 0.25 playback speed and can say there's definitely no noticeable delay. Don't know why they'll stop the aptx support.

    edit: the tt-BH-085 have very nice battery length, normally have 5+hour session on discord/game/music and they don't run out of battery. Comfort wise they don't hurt unlike my older Sony WH-CH500. ANC is decent but not the best I've used. My Logitech G613 is still audible and I can still hear the airplane flying over. ANC used in the Bh-085 is feedback only.

  Fun Fact: I bought these headphones just over a week ago, facing away from the bedroom door, I put these TT-BH090 on, put on some music to see how well the headphones sounded and the quality of the ANC noise cancellation, unbeknown to me there was a colorful range of expletives being hurled into my direction then a bang bang bang on my shoulder, I turned around and I lifted my headphones off and my wife said "why the hell are you ignoring me, not even you are that deaf"!! So yeah the ANC works really well, I could not hear her at all and the music was not blaringly loud either. It was only after she put them on that she realized how well the ANC worked. She grudgingly apologized.
  She then started to tell me off for spending $79 on headphones without discussing it with her, I just put the headphones back on and smiled. I like these headphones!!

    The BH060 is normally $67.49 when it's posted here as a deal, and that's what I paid, and that's the lowest it's been in the last 11 months I've been watching it. So $62.99 is a genuinely good price. Fortunately I purchased on a price protection credit card, so when I saw this deal I was straight onto Latitude to get my $4.50 refunded 😂.

  I received my BH090 headphones today. Quite impressed with Amazon delivering on a Saturday. I am disappointed that they are using the Micro USB interface for charging and not "Upgraded" USB-C as advertised. I haven't used them yet and not sure if I can be bothered returning them yet.
  Just a heads up for anyone who has recently purchased one on contemplating purchasing one in the near future.

    Mine have USB-C and do indeed charge fast. You should have those replaced if the one you purchased definitely stated the USB-C upgrade.

      I will send them back to Amazon and probably order these again or the BH-085's on prime day. USB-C is the way to go.

  I receved these a few days ago. Pretty happy with them for the price. One caveat though: When connecting by bluetoth to my Thinkpad E495 (the device I plan to use them with the most), the headphones get stuck in a power loop. Power on, pairing, connected - dead. Repeat.

  They don't do this with any of my other devices: Macbook pro 2018, Thinkpad T430s, iPhone 6S and several android phones.

  Anyone else experienced similar?

    Have you checked if your bluetooth drivers are up to date? Lenovo use both Realtek and Intel for their WiFi and Bluetooth chips depending on the model and custom configuration options. I would recommend using the Lenovo Vantage app first to check for driver updates, and then checking either the Realtek or Intel website for driver updates.

      They are all up to date.

      Also, I wouldn't consider a bluetooth device getting stuck in a power loop to be the fault of something at the other end of the connection.

      A little searching shows this problem has cropped up for other TaoTronics devices, so I think I'm out of luck here.

      That being said, it's another reason to replace the e-waste bluetooth and wifi chips that Lenovo typically use in their devices.
