Was looking for new sun shades for the upcoming Queensland summer and didn't want to melt my hands on the steering wheels or shock my fingers on the seatbelt hook. Didn't really like the generic ones I found at Supercheap so I found these highly reviewed ones on Amazon couple days ago and didn't pull the plug because Amazon Prime Day coming up. Happy to report they have 20% off today so I bought two.

They also got different types if you don't like the full blown windshield cover.

Own two of these and like them a lot. I'd reccomend double checking the size and buying one a bit bigger than your windscreen.

These are great, I've bought 5 in total from various sales. I usually buy the Large size to fit mostly everything from a Kia Cerato hatchback to a Hyundai iLoad van.

    • according to their chart, i brought a large for a sorento.
thanks op, this is the first order during the prime sale apart from the $10 from $100 gift card.

  • They don't support Mazda :(

    • they do

      • My Bad ;)

    • Check the third image for compatibility

    • If buying this for a Mazda 3, get the large. The standard size as they indicate does not fit at all. It's waaay too small.

Very similar (maybe the same) are pretty cheap at Repco st the moment https://www.repco.com.au/en/seat-covers-vehicle-accessories/…

  • I have these but wouldn't recommend them. I only use them to keep the generic one in place. While these shades cover the whole windscreen, they aren't great at blocking heat out because they are quite thin and the reflective layer isn't very good.
Quality is disappointing too. A couple of areas was torn after about 3 months of use and I didn't remove them everyday. I used them in a parked car so only remove them every few weeks.

    • can you recommend anything that's better for heat?
      (I don't mind paying more)

  • i love these type of shades. once you get the hang of it, they're quick and easy to fold in/open up and don't take up a lot of space.
unlike the traditional type of shade that develops creases and gets weak, the spring steel holds it up nicely. i was given a promotional one 7 years ago and it's still going strong.

  • Is this made of out of genuine Kinder Fluff?

      Straight from the belly buttons

  • Super interested in purchasing one of these, so does it not keep the heat out?

    • The reviews indicate that it does quite a good job keeping the heat out

      • Thank you :) I'll give it a go not that expensive

  • No large size anymore!

  • The recommended size for a Ford focus is XL I wonder if this is sedan or hatch? Does anyone know what size I should buy for a Ford focus hatchback please?

  • Just tried to purchase it but discount not applying on the final page, do you have to be a prime member to get the discount?

    • Did you put in the code? You don't need to be prime member. Only the X Large size is left for this discount

  • Yeh I tried both codes still not working, don't know why

  • Got mine today and can confirm the car felt cooler immediately after putting this in place. Happy days
