I saw another Amazon deal today morning for the same product at $159 in ozbargain .

Same product in office works today morning was $230. I had that page open in my phone and when I went to office works store and asked them to do price match, the customer rep checked and found that price was $159 there as well. I refreshed the page and bingo the price is $159!

If you are not interested in waiting and tracking game and ready to go out to store then this is the one for you. But if you want it delivered at this price and have prime then amazon.

  Damn that's cheap. I built my own portable SSD with a Kingston A2000 1TB and a Orico NVMe enclosure for about $210, back when these things were $280+. Hurts a little to see them for $159…

    Seems like the WD is slower. 400MB/s vs sandisk 550MB/s

        If you rather a very short built in cable which may not even reach to your say desktop pc usb ports. Shortest USB cable which i've ever seen on a portable drive. It's made primarily for laptop computer use.

        I tried to use a WD My Passport Portable GO SSD (500GB drive) with my PS4 Pro, but the inbuilt cable was just too short. So i had to purchase a USB 3 extension cable just to reach to the front usb port. All the other portable SSD with the non built in USB cable were just fine.
