Why are you doing this to me. I'll have what your having again. Bought

        • haha i just couldnt help myself! quite an upgrade from the coles brand throwaway grinders im using atm…

      • Thanks for the tip. Got the matching tray as well :)

  • Does this get the salt and pepper stuck at the bottom which then falls off onto the bench when you place them down?

    • +1

Don't know if you can avoid it. Has happened with every grinder we've owned.

      • Damn, that's my biggest pet peeve. Bought a set anyway as our current ones are shite.

        • +1

You can get upside down/inverted mills/grinders if that is a concern.

          • @g1: Yep, these are the ones we have, also Cole & Mason as it happens. They solve the problem of having salt and pepper on the bottom of the mills, but look pretty untidy at the top once they've been used for a while.

    • +1

Just give it a solid hit with your hand before you place it down. I do that for my hand grinder for coffee.

  • Cashback on this?

    • +1

0% I think since it comes under kitchen and dining. Hopefully this still works since it's technically under the home category.

We own these and they are very good. We've owned Peugeot grinders too and these are much better. So much easier to grind and fill. We will get another set for a house warming gift. They come in a really nice box too.

  • Was looking for a set today! Good timing thanks OP!

  • Bought. Thanks OP.

I ain't having no damn salt or pepper if they are not grinded with precision.

    • Word ! I'd never accept unprecisely grinded salt christals in my food, yuck !

  • Bought, hope these are good. I'd rather pay more for quality.

    • This is exactly why I bought these last year at over $100. They are awesome and you won't be disappointed. For under $50 it's a steal.

  • Mate, I don't need this, I already own one. But it's so good and half what I paid u made me buy a second set. It's the ozb way πŸ™‚

I think made in China so no deal.

We have French-made Peugeot Grinders that are at least 20 years old and still going strong.

  • Brought earlier but the comments speak a true story.
Have absolutely no idea why I would really need this, doubt I actually wanted it but still bought it.
I mean value for money and holiday present for my sis but Wow do we wear the Ozbargain badge with pride

  • Is the Cole & Mason H321845U Cole and Mason Horsham Chrome Gift Set, One Size equivalent in quality?

    It’s available at $66.99

    • In terms of grind mechanism, the pepper grinder has 1 less setting and it does not advertise as having there "precision grind mechanism". The grind mechanism is made of the same materials it appears. However, the body is made of plastic and the chrome is actually chrome coated/painted plastic it seems. Some of the reviews seems to mention it breaking easy, but other reviews say its a good product.

My conclusion is the actual grinding part of it may be a similar quality, however the build quality and size is nothing like the one posted.

  • Devo! I bought these about a week ago for $100ish :(

  • Finally I got a gift for my next generation. Now time to put some gold flakes to my table salt. The 3$ salt won't do πŸ˜‰

  • damnit! I missed out.
