    My laptops are ddr2 :(

    • +1

      try having ddr ;{

  • is this going to fit in a Asus U31F?
if i buy two DIMMS can i replace the current ram in the laptop and get 8GB?

    • check if can accept 8GB, it should but only if you have dual channel RAM

  • bought this for my imac last time,

12gb running in it now :D

  • +1

Just wanted to add that they charge a 2.4% PayPal surcharge so the total was $22.53 for me.

pay DD, Netplus is a OCAU sponsor so I doubt they will screw you over

      • they haven't been an OCAU sponsor for quite a while…

  • $29 now?

    • +1

      use coupon code

  • The website is crap. they do not have system to verify the code. It is coming up as $29.00 with $19.00 postage.

  • My computer has a Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6750 (4M Cache, 2.66 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)

Does the FSB mean it is directly related to having 1333Mhz RAM also?

    • +1

      Firstly this is laptop RAM
Secondly I don't think too many laptops have both core 2 duo CPU and ddr3 RAM. ddr3 really came into mainstream with the release of the core i Series.

Use CPU-Z to find out if your laptop supports DDR3

      • Thanks for the info. Will look into it.

      • Lenovo T400 - core 2 duo uses DDR3 ram.

        2 or 4GB PC3-8500 memory standard, upgradable to 8GB

        • Asus Ul30vt also a core 2 duo uses DDR3 ram. Only thing is that the ram will be downclocked to slower speeds, no big deal really when the ram is this cheap.

        • ahh ok, I think it has more to do with the motherboard than the CPU. my mate has a Q6600 and uses DDR3 as well but generally DDR3 RAM in C2D was limited to very high end gaming(Alienware) or business machines(Lenovo).

        • Yep, Motherboard dictates the type of RAM that can be used. My motherboard uses Core2 and can use either DDR2 or DDR3. Supports both.

  • Any deals for the 2x2GB DDR3 desktop ram?

    • +1

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for future desktop RAM deals that you would not want to miss out on!

  • OH YEAH, QUICK QUICK

You must log in before you place an order

Well they just lost me as a customer for life.

    • How else are you supposed to track your order/RMA/shit. For computer companies it is much better/easier to have a user account to refer to than straight away use Paypal and guest checkout

      • spawnpoint's right - these days you even have to log in to internet banking. Outrageous!!!

  • +2

Donuts give you cancer. Ooops, wrong thread.

  • :( My poor old laptop only uses ddr2

  • After entering the 'promo code' nothing changes in the price (29+19), skeptical to put CC details for the higher price and hope the next page to show reduced price…..how to apply promo code?

    • As the OP stated:"Please type these codes in (don't copy & paste)."

    • Most likely the promocode was typed in wrongly. It has worked for hundreds other customers. Do try again.

      • It worked! thanks

  • 1 or 2 sticks ? What's happend if i put DDR3 to a DDR2 mother board ( laptop ) does it work at limited speed ?

    • Unfortunately, you won't be able to put DDR3 into a DDR2 mobo. The ram is physically different and thus it won't fit in your DDR2 mobo.

  • Yahoo! Ordered 2! 8GB of 1333 Ram..:D

  • When does it update with the new price?

I put the code in and it isn't updating the price.

    • Read the description ?

      • I typed it in and nothing happened, oh well not going to worry to much. Just saved myself $40

Get the shipping insurance. This mob use eParcel so when my order for 8GB went missing the last time they ran this deal on OzB their response was an anonymous, zero puncuation email telling me better luck next time.

    • They won't try to swindle you because they have good rep on OCAU(sponsors) but Auspost will certainly screw you over if they have the chance

      • Auspost lost it but only Netplus as the sender were able to investigate it. Not swindled, just unloved…

        • +1

Austpost do occassionally lose a parcel - although quite rare. That is why we highly recommend freight insurance. They do seem to lose parcels more often coming up to the Christmas season.

We are sorry to hear that you received an "anonymous, zero puncuation email telling me better luck next time". This would not be acceptable company policy. We will try and investigate what happened here. If you could please email [email protected] with a copy of that email.

          Thanks!

  • NVM i have win 32bit …. * sigh *

  • I ordered this the last time it was on. In fact, I'm typing this message using my laptop that now has 8GB. I was hoping to increase my laptop RAM to 12GB, but I was getting instability when it had the old and new RAM installed at the same time. Laptop would spontaneously reboot, freeze, that sort of thing. Running it solely on the new RAM, everything is rock solid again.

Thought I'd mention it, in case other people had the same idea.

    • you have win 64bits ?

    • more to the point, you have an 8gb stick of DDR3 RAM? (keeping in mind no laptop has more than two SODIMM slots)

      • Tell that to my HP Envy that has 4 slots, and I know some Dell have 4 slots…so hardly a blanket statement.

  • my laptop got pc3-8500 1066Mhz. will it support 1333Mhz? or can I replace it with 1333Mz?

    • Thank you for mention that, i check my RAM with "CPUID CPU-Z" and it has 667Mhz, so i just order 2 :). I think as long as your mobo supports DDR3 it should be fine, moreover $20 can't goes wrong.

      • I saw the 667Mhz too and was worried since I have a months old laptop that was spec'd with 1333Mhz RAM. Then I saw on the features list for the RAM from NetPlus which says • 667MHz fCK for 1333Mb/sec/pin (3rd item on list), so I think that could be where the figure is matching up? I'm not sure, but that's my guess.

  • I placed my order. This is what I get in the email order summary: "INVALID OR EXPIRED PROMO CODE"

    Code Product Qty Price SubTotal
    MYSOD3-4096K 4Gb DDR3 1333 SoDIMM Kingston 2 29.00 58.00

    WTF?

    +ive for the bargain though.

    • Most likely the promocode was typed in wrongly. It has worked for hundreds other customers. Do try again.

      • Worked! Thanks.

Anyone want to buy 2X2GB DDR3 1333 RAM?

    • LOL! Ditto. I've got two spare 2GB DDR3 1333 SO-DIMMs too :)

    • +1 2x2GB sodimm that will come out from a Dell Vostro 3500 :)

    • Selling 2x2GB SoDimm DDR3 667MHz @ a price of foot long subway.

  • Will this work on an imac 2011. 21.5 2.7 Ghz.

    • Kingston is generally most reliable for Macs

  • I got 2x2GB RAm aswell , in perth giong for 15 bucks

  • Will this work on a 2010 MacBook Pro?

    • Not as is. The C2D Macbooks won't downclock the RAM. I made that mistake for one of mine. Had to manually modify the clock speed on the RAM to make use of it. Not worth the trouble. Just buy the right stuff.

  • Please be warned!

These are selling out very fast, and we may not be able to fulfill all the overnight orders. We still do have stock, but it will be on a first-come-first-served basis. If you miss out, we will contact you.

Thank you and have a great night!

    • is it a max of 4?

    • can you give us an expected delivery date? Would I be able to get mine by Friday?

      • At this late stage of order processing, sorry, not likely.

        • When are you expecting to send them out?

      • if it's any consolation, mine was dispatched to the courier today at 5pm WST.

        "Estimated Delivery times are:
        Perth: 1-2 working days.
        WA Country: 2-3 working days.

can anyone tell me the promo code again??

    • Go to the top of the Page. It's right there!

  • Will think work for my mac mini 2011. If it does looking to get 2 to max out the RAM.
    Cheers

    • does it really help though? Are you running any VMs on it or is it just for the sake of upgrading

  • Would this work on Acer AOD 257?

  • Is the Ram still available?

  • +1

    SOLD OUT NOW!

  • is that why the code is not working now?

It kept changing the code to uppercase and said expired or invalid. bummer

  • Just received my RAM, wanted to thank NetPlus for their quick postage!

    • Most welcome. Enjoy it!

      • I need an explanation for the cancellation of my order, Order Status (11111615KL/538309
