you wouldn't waste $3.48/$3.98 on one? what a stupid thing to say on ozbargain!

        • Bullcrap.

        • You must have gone crazy…

  • used to be cheaper last time.

way too much moolah for a 7 inch tablet, better offers out there like the Iconia, the other specs are nice though

I have one of these (through work) It's a rubbish device, nowhere near as capable as the 7" Samsung I have.
Crap software, Not bad hardware (but not hackable), Useless almost completely without a blackberry to combine with.

Seriously, stay away guys. (also I expect a fire sale of these soon)

    Waiting for the "discontinued" clearance.

  • Yes this is going to be discontinued, it lacks of everything.

This is the most useless tablet in it's price range.

    • It's actually a half decent tablet, with a nice powerful OS and specs backing it. It's just, as you say, totally in the wrong price range, even at this discounted price. Heck, even at the previous $294 special price it's still in the wrong price range.

If it ever goes down to $200, I would probably grab one (assuming by then they'd got the whole 'android app compatibility' thing finally implemented, like they've been promising for most of this year).

  • Was $294 previously at Harvey Norman, it will continue to drop - see http://www.tabletnews.com.au/blackberry-playbook-price-drop-…

  • Spend $31 more and buy yourself a 32GB 3G Xoom. There are no decent apps for this. Nor are they going to release anything, anytime soon. With RIM's share of the mobile world shrinking……
