  • Any feedback from owners of this machine?

      It's great, I use them daily (x3).

      Must have for those WFH.

An amazing hassle free machine. Consistent coffee each time.

I got it from the mother's day promotion, and is honestly mediocre.

It feels very plasticky, and a bit fragile with the part that opens up for the capsules.

Would be nicer if the milk frother wasn't attached.

Coffee flavour wise though, is good

I love mine, use it on a daily basis. Double shots have been great 1 capsule to make 2 coffees.

I'm using it for the last 1.5 year.. Been experimenting it a lot..

Started with Lór Coffee Pods, tried every other brand just to find my preferred taste
Then I switched to Nespresso Reusable Pods, grinding my own beans sometimes and experimenting with different beans and shots

You can use all Nespresso Compatible pods in it, I'd suggest you to use recently released Vittoria pods as well

Being concerned about the environment and throwing Aluminum waste?
After using, just chuck the used coffee, empty the pod and wash it for putting it with the recycles

Feel free to ask me anything related to this machine :)

    • I enjoy mine. I have the LM8018/90. The double shots are fantastic if you can get them at the right price. I've been using Starbucks Nespresso for the past few months but picked up the L'or Amazon deal couple days ago. The top lever could be improved but not the worst for the price.

You can get decent coffee pods for about 40 to 45c, so essentially you are paying about $60 to 70 for a decent coffee machine with milk frother.

I say it's an excellent deal!

  • Good deal

Excellent machine. Use 3 times a day no problem.
Milk frother has got and cold milk options.

    Takes nespresso and lor capsules.

Had to descale mine once already, used the official descaler $12 from Amazon that does 2 descales.

I like to use double large shot with cold milk and only use a small bit of milk, or single large shot with hot milk near the max setting.

  • More free coffee machines woo!

  • Pods were just on sale on Amazon for close to .25c ea, so you can work out what this coffee machine is actually costing you paying full price for pods ;)

I got the last deal for $99, I still haven't used it 😲🤭

  • Thanks OP bought one

  • So $120 capsule based coffee machine with free capsules? I am looking for a good deal on machines that support beans.

  • Thanks got one

  • Can I use these pods in a Nespresso machine? Nespresso compatible?

    • Yes as long as its not a vertuo pod machine.

  • Thanks OP! Great deal. Looking forward to great coffee.

do they use real coffee? or is it all instant Blend43 style?

    • Real Coffee (Beans ground)

      • that's really good!

  • Got one thanks OP. The last one has been great.

  • Last deal when it was $90 was fantastic.

Great machine, never has failed and long lasting. Dont forget it comes with a milk frother too.

Just finished my coffee allotment and definitely feels worth the cash.

    Just buy it.

Those worried about the environment, use your coffee beans as fertiliser and recycle the pods. There are also reusable pods you can buy.

    -sips coffee-

Please do the right thing and sign up for a Terracycle account (they tend to 'waitlist' you first, I got approved in a few weeks). Terracycle are contracted to recycle these L'Or pods. I tend to throw my capsules in a container under my sink (paper towel on the bottom so they dry out and don't get mouldy) and once I have 50-100 or so of them, I put them in a satchel (I tend to keep the ones that DJs and THE ICONIC use for this purpose), print my free shipping label and chuck them in a red post box. https://www.terracycle.com/en-AU/brigades/jde-capsules-au

    • I've been Terracycling my pods for a while now. They accept most aluminium pods not just L'or. Very easy to use only pity is they ask you to accumulate 7kgs before posting now.

      • That’s only if you want to earn points, right? I don’t care about the points, just want to ensure these capsules don’t end up in landfill. I didn’t know they accepted pods other than JDE and Illy. Nespresso has their own recycling system.

        • You're right looks like if you only want points send above 7kgs
They accept other similar aluminium pods.

  • Got one. Thanks OP

  • Thanks.
My order has even already shipped.

    • Mine has not been shipped yet…
Ill give it till the weekend.

  • Missed out :(
