  • Not the cheapest. It was low as $99 from BigW not too long ago.

This one is unlocked, and according to other posts there are no cheap unlock codes, need Telstra to unlock.

  • Honestly if I got this it'd just be an excuse to use my $10 Amazon credit (only usable for Amazon au as shipper and seller) and then I'd resell >.>
Cos I can't really find anything with Amazon au as seller that I want and the credit will just expire in two months…

I'll at least wait a while in case there's low stock and others actually want to use it

Impressed with the phone considering the price range. I've been using this as a spare while I wait for a new phone. As this is toward the higher end of the discounted price range, I'd consider holding out for something a little better.

    Pros
    -Android one
    -Build quality seems decent
    -Battery life seems decent
    -headphone jack

    Cons
-processing power. Chrome occasionally gives a not responding message on heavier sites
-lack of ram 2gb. There's a a bit of lag and apps often need to reload when switching back
    -no fingerprint reader.
-I haven't found face unlock to be reliable
    -no nfc
    -micro USB
-(not a fair comparison) camera performance

Isn't this very much on the lower end (unless you're a Telstra user who gets free unlock or doesn't need unlocking)

  • available at woolies (not all stores though) for $119

    In stock @ HoppersCrossing store

That's Telstra locked though, this one is unlocked for +-$20 more (if you take discounted gift cards into account, potentially another 10% savings if you have a woolies insurance too).
Not sure how much unlocking costs.
      And Amazon one is delivered.

Yep would rather spend the extra on this unlocked version.
