Also, 12 Rawlings Official Recreational Baseballs (OLB3) for $33.33 posted via Amazon US is a good deal. Considering 2x Rawlings baseballs from Rebel are $20. Note, these are not exactly the same as the R8U/R14U (flatter seams, synthetic coating), but still an amazing price.. less than half price of any other store ($85 at Red Stitches, NSW). Same weight and size as normal balls.

  • That doesn't include shipping for the baseballs

Edit: my bad didn't see prime

2nd edit: these balls are pretty horrible for anyone under 10 years old

    • Agree.. the balls are the same weight and size as an adult competition ball!

I'm not an expert on each type, but they mention these are for ages 8 and under.. but I think they're mainly just used for recreational/training. The match balls you get from Rebel are better.. but for the price, you can't beat this.

During any training or game, any type of ball pretty much gets scuffed.

I have these. Perfect for throwing in the back yard or hitting off a tee into a net.

The net is pretty good, relativly lightweight, solid construction, catches balls. Being lightweight I put a weight on the leg to hold in place in the back yard during lockdown.

These baseball are practice balls only. Fine for hitting off of a tee or throwing into a net to practice accuracy. Those grade of rawlings balls are a false leather with full cork inner. The seams are very low and the outer very smooth. I bought a dozen blem game balls to work on breaking pitches.

    Go Dodgers

    • I was wondering if these would be worth grabbing to throw into my kit bag as a catcher, but if they're as smooth as my newborn's backside, maybe not worth it.

Would they be any good for batting practice, or would they not accurately mimic the flight of a normal ball?

They would be fine for throwing some BP, fine for warm up throwing. Your pitcher wouldn't like them for a proper bullpen is all.

They are probably not as durable as a proper leather outer but that doesn't really matter for a cheap ball.
