Hello everyone!
My name is Megan and I recently launched my new business Charming Green Florist in Melbourne. I specialise in delivering individual designed bouquets and arrangements, no recipes or catalogues here, everything made bespoke to order.

To help get my name out there and lift the spirits of Melbourne residents (goodness knows we need it) I am running a promotion for the upcoming AFL Grand Final. Normally I allow customers to choose a colour theme for their flowers but from now until Thurs 22nd Oct, I am offering a surprise mix in a Charming Posy for 30% off to be delivered on the Friday 23rd public holiday.

Delivery is FREE in the South Melbourne and surrounding areas with Inner Suburbs also accommodated, please check the website for your area.
I also welcome all feedback of any kind.

  • October 24 this year (2020) will be a Saturday. October 24 in recent years:

    2019 (Thursday)
    2018 (Wednesday)
    2017 (Tuesday)
    2016 (Monday)
    2015 (Saturday)
    2014 (Friday)
    2013 (Thursday)
    2012 (Wednesday)
    2011 (Monday)
    2010 (Sunday)

So should this deal be marked expired if it was only available for Friday 24 October (which last occurred in 2014)? ;P

  • Wow, on your website it also states: "Melbourne, let’s celebrate! It’s the Grand Final weekend coming up and there’s a public holiday on Friday 25th Oct." Make up your mind as to the date. Although, there are many legitimate websites that warn of scams where e-mails and sites have spelling errors, bad grammar, incorrect dates, etc. Couldn't find your ABN…

Apologies, looking at different calendars where the sunday appears at either end of the week threw me off. It was purely human error. I'm thankful for the feedback and I will correct the error.

      • No apologies necessary; sorry that I couldn't give the feedback privately (I am still new to this site so not sure how messaging works on here). I commend you for the courage it takes to start a business during COVID-19 lockdown!

  • But the photos on your Facebook page of the flowers look absolutely gorgeous, Megan! Good luck with this new business. :)
