Bonus $20 While Transferring via Payid @ Instarem

70
PAYID20

Received this in email for both of my account and wife's account.

The code seems generic and worth a try.

  • Phooey, didn't work for me. Regular Instarem user already. Obviously there is no incentive to reward me. Thanks tho!

    • Weird. I just did a transfer like a week ago and received this in email.

  • I got this as well. Any idea what is the minimum transfer amount needed for this Promo to Work? It isnt' mentioned anywhere in the Email.

Another deal posted an hour back shows $5 bonus, so this may be targeted with different amounts based on transaction history. The $5 bonus deal however mentions minimum transfer amount as $200:

    • I didn't check. But I transferred $500.

I tried on $600 but it didn't work. PAYID5 did work tho! Better than nothing. Thanks.

Ok thanks. Just saw that now $200 is the minimum amount in AUD for any transfer, with or without any promocode!

I tried using PAYID20 with $200 transfer and it worked! So essentially for this particular promo there is "No minimum amount specifically, the existing limits apply"

  • Didnt work for me with both Payid5 and payid20

Never heard of this company. Can someone tell me the benefits of transferring monies overseas through them? Thanks.

    • I have found Instarem to be fractionally better, and I mean fractionally better than Transferwise. The receiving bank charges no fees when the foreign currency arrives in the foreign bank account, and both of these third party companies, Transferwise and Instarem have excellent rates, so you lose very little money when moving funds overseas. Do NOT move money internationally via any of the Big Four banks, in my opinion. You will be ripped severely.

For small movements of money, even under $100 AUD, I recommend Skrill.

      • Thank you for sharing! I have only used the big 4 banks before. What's the usual turnaround time to arrive at the overseas bank from your experience?

Edit: agreed on the bad rates!

        • Check out mozo.com.au or finder.com.au for the best offers.

        • Instarem and transferwise are both quite quick. Provided you make the "order" and EFT your funds to either of these companies during business hours, oftentimes the money will be in the overseas bank account within 24-48 hours. It's quite quick. And both companies send email status updates as to what is happening with your transfer.

      • Which do you normally use, Instarem or transferwise?

        • Generally Instarem. But I use both. And Skrill for small amounts.

Thanks OP! If you receive email use PAYID20. Else use PAYID5.
    Worked for me and wifey(targetted)

  • This is a great company they use ripple net to transfer, so some country's are near instant (Thailand, GBP) maybe more.
