    2x 20V 5-in-1 Garden Skin

    One for each hand ???

    • -1

      Probably two battery system?

      • -1

        It says batteries aren't included.

      • +1

        I have the same opinion.

I think it may require 2 x 20V batteries to power it (not that it has any included) based on the closest ozito equivalent product.

  • Geez. If it's not an unreliable terror then it's hard to beat for value.

  • +1

So cheap, many other brands charge Well over 100 for each attachment

  • +1

It's good if Bunnings match Ozito with it. or beat it

    • +4

There isn't a comparable product though.. Afaik

Ozito only have the separate tools at between $100-$150. No similar multi-tool in the garden range.

  • +1

I'd imagine it will be pretty weighty with a pair of 4ah batteries on it? Why do they require 2 batteries if it's only 20v?

  • +2

Here's hoping Bunnings reduces the price of their good but overpriced 2 x 18v line trimmer skin

      Hope for the best :)

I have found most of my Aldi tool and electronics purchases over the last couple of years have broken down or become unusable in some way so they are not the great value they appeared to be.

Just what springs to mind are the camping lantern that the charging port failed on after little use, the XFINITY drill that developed a wobbly chuck after little use, the car battery charger that was DOA, and the Bluetooth headphones that died after 12 months of little use. There is more I can't remember.

So I only buy food products there now.

Multitools tend to be jack of all trades, master of none, in terms of build quality and usefulness.

In particular the rotating hedge trimmers have a nasty tendency for the gears to fail inside the heads, or the splines on the driveshafts to wear or straight up explode internally (if you are a muppet and try to "hedge trim" a thick branch the force is usually enough to shatter the splines off the shaft).

I would bet several of those attachments will be dead within the first few uses, the hedge trimmer and edger in particular.

This cheap junk makes me sad we are such a throw away society. This will all be in landfill very quickly…

i have the cordless mower and trimmer set and was thinking about this.
however i've decided to start an ozito range for the following reasons:

    1. save yourself the hartache in going to aldi and not getting what you want. instead just go to bunnings knowing the ozito range is always in stock.
    2. Ozito >> Xfinity. the Xfinity batteries can be abit fidly to remove and you'll pinch your fingers now and then.
    3. Xfinity lawnmower is very light but isnt durable. the blade gets blunt quick and the wheels will get wonky after the 3rd time if your lawn isnt level.

honestly…why go mad chasing xfinity products that are only ~10-15% less than Ozito.

Particularly since most are shared components/rebranded Einhell products.

Stock of this didn't arrive in Vic & NSW

    • consider yourself lucky mate.

now go get yourself the ozito PXC range from bunnings. they even dropped the price on a few of their tools during aldi's gardenline sale.

  • No stock in mulgrave vic 3170. Piss poor

    • yep, i waited 1.5hr in line at Carnegie for something else and again 0 stock of that and 1 mower lol.
      consider yourself lucky

i immediately got the Ozito PXC brand on click and collect and stoked.

Fyi, stock is found in Mulgrave waverley gardens. Including the multi tool and reciprocating saw.

Both multi tool and reciprocating saw are good though the blades are rubbish. Use the savings to buy a better blade.
