  • How do you get a price beat with the current lockdown restrictions in Melbourne?

I called my local Bunnings and asked for the Special Orders desk and gave them the website for the cheaper price to beat.

      • Cheers.. thanks :)

      • My bunning rejected my price match request as it was a special order/not in stock item. How did your bunnings agree to do so? WOW

        • I was able to price beat at Bunnings, I pulled the trigger. I was looking for Lawn Mower for a while now.

Now I have to think if this is better than the Petrol Lawn Mowers. I have a grass area of roughly 200M2. Would this be sufficient or should have gone with Petrol Lawn Mover?

I'm new to lawnmower, compare to Victa v82 (http://www.geelongmowers.com.au/products/mowers/victa/displa…), which one is better?
I would assume the 82v is much more powerful (planning to price beat tomorrow at Bunnings).

      Victa vs Masport
Price (at bunnings) $485 vs $539
      Voltage 82 vs 58
Battery 2AH vs 4.3AH - Note that masport battery is internal so may be difficult to swap when it dies
      cut width 480mm vs 460mm
stated run time 40mins vs 55mins
stated charge time 30mins vs 2hrs

I've bought the Victa, I'm tempted to swap for the Masport but i'm not 100% either
The 2AH battery on the Victa is pretty small…

Thanks for the break down comparison. I got quite a big yard, might go with the Victa 82v 21 instead of the 18. Not cheap even on sale but hopefully it saves me headache years down the road.

        • I love my 21" Victa 82v!

          • @aleayr: Victa 82v 21 come with two battery, which is handy. Sadly though no QLD Bunnings willing to price beat. So the wait continues

  • Wow.. http://www.geelongmowers.com.au/products/mowers/victa/displa… @ $799 vs $929 @ Bunnings is a good deal https://www.bunnings.com.au/victa-82v-21-wide-cut-mulch-or-c… especially with a larger yard, or corner block, like me.

  • Free battery redemption offer if you purchase from the Energy Flex range but only valid for in-store purchases at participating retailers.

Looks like Sydney got left out.
