Any legit reviews on the headphones? Looking for a pair for my daily train ride to work..

    • I'm not a big sound guy and bought these for that reason and when I was sharing a room working from home.

They get the job done although the microphone is very susceptible to background noise, including wind.

    • +1

I bought a pair last year and sold them on recently after getting a good deal on the Sony WH1000XM4s.

They're not the best for sound quality and you seem to get better sound when noise cancelling is turned on but the ANC is pretty good! I managed to sleep on a couple plane rides (when they were still going) for a few hours where I normally wouldn't be able to at all. Does really well with consistent low level noise (plane engine/portable air con sounds) but will slip a bit higher frequency sound (like tapping) through. You can't really get much better for the price unless you find someone selling them second hand :)

If you're after sound quality more than anything, then you're better off looking into Superlux or Takstar or some other chinaphones haha

    • I don't have those but I got the SoundLiberty 79s.

I got no reason to believe the reviews aren't legit as they align just fine with my experience. They're a solid budget brand, the sound is fine, the ANC is…not bad? It's not amazing but it works pretty well, battery life etc were all on point, syncing audio between buds was fine (not an issue with headphones but just pointing out quality control).

Also was skeptical but really, I think they're just quite a decent budget brand.

  • Just copped a pair of the headphones for the missus! Can't wait to get them

  • How is this Wireless Earbuds compare to SoundPEATS TrueAir2? Cheers.

    • +1

      much, much cheaper

      • in terms of a product are they inferior or are they a good product for the money?

        • sorry i dont have either. i have xiaomi original wireless earbuds tho. if they're anything like them, the sound is decent, bluetooth 5.0 range is excellent but mic is damn near useless

          • @belongsinforums: thanks, reviews look good and I don't have a need for mic, just something comfortable with reasonable quality sound for commuting. I grabbed a pair.

            • +1

@bonezAU: should be fine for that purpose. if they dont quite fit in your ears, consider buying foam tips

  • Hey xev any chance of the TT-BA08 Bluetooth transmitter/receivers coming on special again soon?

  • Awww still no deal on the bluetooth car kit?

  • +1

Pairs only 1 device at a time. Each time you need to enable pairing mode to pair on to another device. Not a good choice.

    • Pretty sure you have to pay big money for this feature? I'd love to be corrected but.

  • The TT- BH060s have been $76.49 for the last few days if you use coupon code DBB2KKVJ. I didn't post it as that's roughly what I paid for them a year ago. It seems TT have coupon deals all the time on the stuff.

My son was very happy with his pair of BH60s. I'm less happy after he lost them last week.

    I haven't tried the 90s, so I can't compare.

  • I bought mine from the last sale a couple of weeks ago, for $80 headphones they are very impressive, comfortable to wear, great sound and ANC works well.
I've used the Bose 700 ($400+) headphones and while the Taotronics Sounsurge 90 are not as good as the latest Bose,
they are 90% as good as the Bose 700 but for only 20% of the price!! It is money well spent, comes with a nice hard case also.

  • Do these wireless earbuds connect easily with devices? Sometimes I find my iphone has problem connecting and I need to retry a few times in order to connect which can get very annoying.

    • iPhone connecting to what? With what?

Anyway don’t get these ear buds.

      • connecting to bluetooth for wireless earbuds

        • Most will connect fine with Bluetooth 5.0.

FYI, get Soundpeats TrueAir2 for the same price, and is much better.

Regarding BH090, It can’t be paired with multiple devices simultaneously. (If that is the case, check BH085)

  • +1

I bought the TT-BH085 and I'm very pleased. Good comfort, good noise cancellation and USB c. Could be a little louder with a little more bass, but over all, very happy.

  • Protein Membrane Drivers

Sooo they are organic? (O_o) ???

can you do below 60 bucks ? 79.99 is always the "discounted" price

  • Tossing between this and the chinese brands i found on Aliexpress e.g Ausdom, Edifier, Blitzwolf etc.

    • me and a friend bought from TT and it seems like the build is value for its price, as many others have mentioned, it's a fraction of Sony and Bose premium range with about one or two notches down in things like comfort and overall build

    • Edifier hps are generally lighter than TaoTronics, seemingly of better build quality

  • Loving my BH090s. The Noise Cancelling is good, sound quality very decent for the price and calls are fine and consistent as long as there is not too much wind or background noise. Use mine often with no music just for the noise cancelling.

  • BH090 are perfect considering the price point. Hybrid ANC is not the best but can't complain for 79.99 bucks. Been using for around 3 months and they easily survive 35-40 hours on a single charge. Have paired with my Samsung TV using TT-BA09 and haven't noticed any delays.

    • Are they comfortable to wear?

      • +1

oops, replied as a separate comment. Yes, they are comfortable and ears don't ache after long sessions. But there is bit of a pulsating feeling or heartbeat when headphones are not playing any sound for a while, assume it is due to ANC but it goes off once there is any sound.

  • Yes, they are decent. Ears don't ache after long sessions.

  • Are the BH090 definitely USB-C seems to be two versions of these headphones, one with the old micro-usb the other seems to be an upgraded version with usb-c. Based on reviews and comments seems people are getting different versions of the headphones. Can you please confirm?
