Since my last purchase of the same item from Amazon at a similar price, I've been really impressed by how well this little gadget performs! The noise cancellation is excellent, the app settings are user-friendly, and the on/off function works smoothly. It uses USB-C, gives about 3 hours of playtime per bud, and both buds fit comfortably in either ear. Nothing to loose with this on such budget. I am now a fan of Anker buds.

about 3 hours of playtime per bud

      Is that with ANC on?

Thats listening to FM or music.

        • I meant noise cancelling

@shxhshzhz: Havent tried for call that that long but they are great even in windy environment, exercising, teams or zoom.

Bought to add to my collection of electronic shame.

      Lol same here. Great price

    • electronic shame

It's a good earbud for the price. Don't be ashamed.

You don't understand. He's not shaming the product. as a typical OZ Bargainer you will hoard cheap things while piles up into the electronic shame pile. To be hopefully used one day.

Like multiple power banks, cables, portable fans, SSD HDD, etc.

multiple power banks, cables, portable fans, SSD HDD,

I understand these but didn't expect earbuds to be included too 😂

        • +2

Nobody told me they had to be cheap.

I've heard this joke before and it's played out

        • While showing concerns for single use plastics with a pile of plastic covered electronics that they might only use once if any. S/

  • This - China vs Tozo - USA

      Founded by a Chinese expat?

  • I was looking at these or TOZO T18 or A1’s last week.

Thought I’d wait to see any Prime week deals.

    Anyone have these Tozo’s?

    • +1

Have the A1s and they are steal at its low price. It doesnt have ANC but even without it, they have a good seal in your ears so not much noice gets in.T18s are on sale rn if the A1s are good, in my opinion you cant go wrong with the T18s, esp at the price.

My experience of Soundcore vs Tozo is with the SC Liberty 4 NC and the Tozo NC3.
Overall, the SC fit better, have a nice full featured app but after 2 years, have found the battery life deteroriates quite quickly. Barely get 90 minutes out of one of the buds now.
The Tozos have a nice LED display showing how much battery life is, but I find the earbud placement in the case to be a bit unfriendly and they are built for smaller ear…holes. I like the Tozos, but not as much as the SCs, mostly due to the SC fitting in the ear better (for me anyway) and the fiddliness of getting the Tozos back into their case.

Started carrying the Tozos as backups, and they are starting to replace the SC L4s, because of the crap battery life.
Bit disappointed as these were supposed to be their flagship model (now replaced by the Liberty 4 Pro, and soon the Liberty 5).
However, I don't believe this is indicative of SoundCores overall quality, as I have the Q30 headset, and that's still going strong.

Hardly definitive, but if it were a birthday present for myself, I'd be getting another SC

  • About to go travelling so these will come in handy.

What we really need is a comparison of earphones withing the same budget, e.g. This or the creative Zen air 2?

  • I have the A40 and they are really good for noise cancellation, battery life, sound, fit etc

  • How are they for sleeping? I've seen their new a30 preorder around 150 after discount

  • I find the noise cancellation on these vastly inferior to the similarly priced QCY T13 ANC, however on the plus side these are much less sensitive to Bluetooth interference.

  • Thanks OP. Got one. don't have eBay Plus anymore, but there was a 10% discount offered by Allphones. Paid $35.12, including delivery. Received today. Very happy with sound quality. best part is that it connects to multiple devices so when I'm watching stuff on the tablet on the train and get a call on the mobile, I don't need to switch buds anymore.

Just received these and are well worth the price tag. Not the best quality but you get what you pay for. I do think the case is bigger than the buds are. These are the smallest buds I’ve come across so can be a bit difficult to remove the earbuds. I rate these and would recommend.

UPDATE: Started noticing the battery never showed at 100% even after charging the case + buds for over 3 hours and leaving the buds in the case for hours after that (supposedly getting charged). Always showed 60% / 70% in the left bud and 80% / 90% in the right bud, and the left bud's battery would drop very quickly, as quick as 30% drop im 3 minutes of not watching/playing anything. Contacted Allphones through eBay and provided photos showing battery dropping in minutes. They asked to perform diagnostic checks - did that, and then they wanted me to send the buds in (at my expense) for further testing. All of this took 4-5 days. So, I raised a return case through eBay and am sending these back tomorrow. Just unlucky, I guess. I would have been happy with a replacement but changed my mind after dealing with Allphones staff.
