Parallel universe.
Does the learners test (etc) have anything about country driving these days? It's so different to city driving and it costs lives. Lost a friend recently to soft shoulders causing a rollover. Also, overtaking long road trains and driving with roos need to be taught.

not that i can remember, but its probably worth pointing out to anyone planning to drive to the country to do some research on the issues you mentioned.
But theres no point putting something on a test that isnt used, or imminently used, people just forget the lessons

When I did my first test I aced the parallel parking itself, but I put so much effort into learning all the secret angles and stuff that I forgot to indicate when reversing. She had me do the whole test, and at the end told me I failed for not indicating in the reverse parallel park. Which is fair enough, pretty dangerous to not indicate a reverse turn.

People should learn how to drive, not how to pass.
Those who just pass are a right pain in the @&& and dangerous on our roads.
The problem is that most bad drivers won't watch videos to take tips on improving.
Learn on playstation. I'm sure you can fly a jet fighter too, by simply playing on Playstation.
Me… I would suggest getting off the lounge and actually getting out there to drive properly. It is not a game. If you crash, you many not be able to re-boot.
If this is your perception of reality, I recommend you un-plug from the prospect of driving.Driving is a privilege, it is not a game.
