Could you tell me why that’s a good/bad thing?
Its ok if you still have lots of microusb devices. Bad if all you have usb c devices. Meaning you'll have to have a micro usb cable.
For those who have transitioned from microUSB to USB type C, having to carry an extra cable might be a tad inconvenient.
Also, type C is easier to use when it comes to inserting a cable in the dark for instance.I find myself always having at least 1 micro USB device lying around, so I bought a magnetic cable and a bunch of micro USB and USB C magnetic heads and
