Wow - the 90s are really back

    • -1

These weren’t from the 90s - that was gameboy / game gear era. These were 80s

      • Nah these were definitely popular in the 90s. We all knew they were way crappier than Gameboy games but they were a fraction of the cost so a common small present.

        • This 90s kid confirms. Played these all the time before I got my Lynx.

I can hear the shrill electronic bleeping now

  • Hm, what do you guys think of Trivial Pursuit Family Edition? Seems okay at this price.

  • I remember having the Street Fighter version of these as a kid, and working out I could beat my highscore from a 'perfect' playthrough (i.e. beat all characters taking no damage), by deliberately losing on the second round each time (but only after getting the enemy to one hit away from death).

The score was based on damage dealt out, so I got much higher scores this way (but still hit the theoretical limit).

  • A tiger handheld? Yes I like pain!
