        They had a 20% off hair products and tools in December last year, but no guarantee that’ll return as it seems like a one-off.

      I have to agree that the validity duration is sub-par. I wouldn’t post if it weren’t near the Christmas period when most will have the motivation to use it on presents!

    • Same here ordered but no mention of the gift card. It says added to cart but again said nothing when checking out… now I got to sit here waiting to see what happens lol


      Thanks for the comment, I’ve contacted DJ and it should have automatically added itself to cart, which it normally does. Usually it’s issued as an e-gift card once the order is confirmed for fulfilment from what I have been advised. I would recommend calling the online support team directly at 133357. They will be able to remedy this for you. Apologies for the hassle, their site is experiencing a few issues as traffic gets higher

        Thank you for getting in touch regarding your recent order.

        I can confirm that the Dyson Air Wrap was offered with a choice of 2 offers. One offer was a free $100 Gift Card, which expires 1 month after the date of purchase. The other offer includes a discount of $80 (reducing the purchase price from $799.00).

        While I'm sorry to advise that we are unable to issue a gift card on your order, as the discount has been applied.

        Should you wish to return the item, please feel free to return it to any of our stores for an exchange or refund.

        Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

          Hi there, for your reference I was instore when multiple Airwrap units were sold, and I can confirm that BOTH specials were applied, simultaneously.
          Occasionally online support makes a mistake, and it looks like this is the case.
          Michael is incorrect, and online looks like they’ve done a pretty big stuff up.

          Apologies for the hassle they’re causing.
          I’d really recommend calling them if you have the time, as they clearly need to remedy this for you. I was in DJ from Dyson for the day, and it sounds like the online team need to call one of the stores to get the correct information.

      Sorry for the hassle, appears they’ve had a glitch on the website. Special is correct but hasn’t been applying as the two specials being applied seem to have confused their system. I’d recommend calling the online team directly at 133357. They’ll be able to organise issuing your e-gift card

        • Lucky you! DJ customer service told me that I had a choice between $80 discount and $100 gift card, and by making the purchase I waived my right to the gift card! Now I have to visit my closest store to return it.

  • Bought this instore couple weeks ago and somehow was given a gift card with 2023 expiry.


      Their bonus gift cards are on different cards to their ones for retail purchase. The purchasable cards are valid for 3 years, it seems like they may have run out of the 1 month cards and given you the retail one! Good win for you there!

      Mother’s Day special is included at the same price, it’s a different colourway with the brushes but otherwise the same

          Ok so I have checked with the David Jones staff, and it appears like they have a glitch on their website that stopped it automatically applying, the promo is correct however I’d recommend giving the DJ online team a call. Their direct number I’ve been given is 133 357. Apologies for the issue that they caused!

  • Contacted DJ via live chat, they fixed the error up and will just email the gift card to you as it was a glitch not applying the gift card in the cart

    • Couldn't get anyone on live chat, contacted them by e-mail and got slapped down :( Refused to issue a gift card, now I have to return it.
