Would that two in one scratch floor boards? The vax brand from BigW has gotten reviews saying that it does and that is more pricer than this one.

No it doesn't, but the vacuum in itself is terrible to be honest. Would have given you the one I have from last year for trial if you were in Melbourne..

Best to spend more and get a Xiaomi Dreame…if the budget is tight try to get a V9

      • Thanks for letting me know. Glad to pay extra for something more worth its value.

That air-conditioner isn't gonna do much when it actually gets warm.

I got the one from last year that was like 4 kW and it made so much vibration and compression noise I took it back couldn't even sleep because it would constantly cut in an out even though it would never get anywhere near its thermostat. And every time it would turn on the compressor it would vibrate violently for at least a minute

Honestly 90% of the portable aircon on the market are fu dame tally flawed. They suck air from the room to cool the condensers then spit it out through the window. The room will constantly be sucking hot air from other windows or the door.

If you need one desperately try to find one with two hoses that attach to the window, meaning sucks air from the outside and blows it back out.

I had the kogan aircon and it could barely get the room temp down by 3-4deg on a 35c day. After modding it and attaching an intake hose, it worked alot better at around 25c when it was 35c out.

The question is: where can you find dual hose portable ACs for sale in Australia?

    • And they are a lot more expensive to boot than a proper split system.

Any feedback about 5L Digital Airfryer $69.99?

    • I am keen to find out as well. I am looking to replace my 4 years old kmart airfryer

    • Looks good

    • is this a new product? I wonder how it compares to Kmart $69 air fryer

Anyone ever tried a Microwave/Air Fryer combo? I need a new Microwave and I already have a big bulk airfryer so if I could get rid of it and get a combo that would be awesome.
I am a little skeptical about them combined though.

one of my friends has one of these and we tried to use the convection… it took ages. I would buy the airfryer separately

      • Yeah thought that may be the case. Dammit.

Aldi Special Buys can go and get f****d! Every time I go there's like 2 of everything and 50 people waiting.

Try a less crowded store maybe?

      • If something is an in-demand item, you really are going to have difficulty getting it easily, if the item is larger and the stock level is small.
If you really need it, you may have to explore other alternatives.

    • Certainly not my experience. Try a different, less crowded store maybe

Agreed & the staff lie about stock levels ive been in there as 2nd customer in the door and looked for the item and none then ask a staff member & they say sold out ,yeah right.
then when i said how can that be i was second in the store they say O we have supply issues with that try next week, And this was last year way before covid thats my rant for today .

    • Are you going on the right day? As someone who supplies special buys a huge amount of time an effort goes into working out how much each store should be allocated. We don't want the stores to sell out right away. It is money/sales being lost if that happens. We aim to stock enough for 24hrs of sales from launch day and a half restock 2 days later. So if you are outside those times you are SoL. Also the stock that doesn't sell from slower store quite often gets dumped at larger stores after the promo period. I might be worth finding the store that gets the overflow stock.

    • I have stopped going for special buys for that reason.

  • So many times I go to Aldi for the special buys unless you get their the day of the specials at opening time it’s impossible to get some of the deals.

The item stock is so often insufficient.

The ACCC commented about Aldi for it. It’s classic bait and switch.

    Pretty scummy really.

  • Long queue.. hard to get special

Went to my local 2 mins before opening time. Massive queue. No social distancing!!!

No air fryer left for me. Rookie mistake.
