I was offered 15% off to sign up on their website and it stacked with the discount, so ended up paying $254.15. Not sure if this offer always pops up or not.

I think the $299 price is part of their *Up to 40% Off Mid Season Sale, so it ends 4/11.

Might have to be quick if you are interested as their website says Only a few left.

Case: 46 mm, Stainless Steel
Strap: 22 mm, Interchangeable
Snapdragon Wear 3100 with 1Gb RAM and 8Gb Storage
Wear OS by Google

Edit: The price is still at $299 even though the sale has ended. Stock seems to be back as well as some have mentioned. (6/11)

Update: The stainless steel one is out of stock now, but the Gold one has now dropped in price to $299 (13/11)

Good price, shame the charging rings fall off

    • Yes it does seem like an issue, but hopefully it wont happen and the fossil warranty should cover it.

  • Must have the Gen 6's due soon then

    • Hope so, I don't know much about smart watches, but from what I hear the snapdragon wear 4100 is a pretty nice platform, so it would be good to see some options using it.

    • The Gen 5 has been out for almost a year, so I suppose Gen 6 should be due? But this discount is only for this particular model and not for the other Gen 5's though.

      They released the 5E instead - https://www.gizmodo.com.au/2020/10/fossils-new-smartwatches-…

Which is just a cheaper version of the 5 (smaller screen, less storage, no GPS), which is a bit disappointing. Maybe the 6 wasn't ready in time.

      • Yeah, I'd heard there was a small delay, they'd submitted FCC specs at the beginning of the year with what looked to be the Qualcomm 3100 chipset still, then with the announcement of the 4100 looks like they had to retool production

  • So hows the battery and doesnit have call function?

    • With everything on, can get easy 24 hours, not too much more than that.
There are other modes you can use to extend that but each to their own.
You can take calls over bluetooth on the watch, but it doesn't have ESIM like Apple Watch to take calls independently.

  • Thanks OP - got the stainless steel one with the 15% off. Interested to see how it compares to the Galaxy Watch.

  • good deal. but goneski.

  • It's showing as out of stock for me :(

  • Back in stock guys, stating just a few left…

And gone again… just check from time to time, they seem to restock

Fossil just announced 25% off - using code 'FRENZY25' - so the already marked down watch at $299 shipped now comes in at $224.25

The stainless steel with pepsi bezel is back in stock.

Bummed that I paid $25 more just last week… :(

    • Just pulled the trigger myself, how have you found your first week with the watch? All ok?

      • +1

I haven't really got to set it up properly yet to be honest.. I will say that it compares well against my Seiko automatic pepsi watch - good weight and the stainless feels to be of decent quality. Bracelet and clasp are nice. The bezel doesn't rotate though, but oh well…
        Shipping was fast too!
