      All of my Zavvi/IWOOT orders arrived safe and sound in the past (probably a dozen in total at this point). I have heard a lot of complaints from other OzBargainers about them but I have yet to receive anything in worse condition than what you get from Myer, DJs, Target or Kmart, some of which have actually sent me damaged/ripped/torn boxes in the past.

        Yeah, when they arrive crumpled and damaged, you have no recourse. Hell if they don't arrive they expect a signed statutory declaration. I got a box of BSG dvds and the box was destroyed, no recourse.

      Agree. My last 2 orders were damaged box and no way to return them. They seem to be sourced from different places. One was wrapped in black plastic and another was boxed.

        Well I'll be damned. That is an unusually long lifespan for a Lego Creator set and probably one of the longest-running sets currently available (along with the Death Star).

          Creator sets have been trending towards longer lines since about 2017, e.g. Taj Mahal. Right now, the last four Modulars (Assembly Square, Downtown Diner, Corner Garage, and Bookshop) can still be found for retail. Back in the day, you could barely find last season's for RRP, much less the previous three.

        I did not miss it actually,but was hesitant to purchase at that time 😅. However, when i made up my mind, it was sold out.

        Toys R Us ebay also sells them but they jack the price to $601 before disc,which puts me off.

    never ordered from them due to distance travelled to destination, seen some decent deals but never confident on the aftersales service based on Ozb feedback. I did pull the trigger on this one though.

    When box was crushed did you contact them, asking for a replacement/ refund? return? anyone have any positive outcome where box arrived squished.

      I just received my Land Rover from Zavvi. Takes a little while. Unfortunately the box was slightly damaged. Not completely crushed but damaged on about 4 sides. I bought to build anyway not for resale or investment so not too bothered. Will see if I can get a partial refund

        Lol I received mine today. Packaging is shocking, I bought to keep and not build. Seriously a black glade wrap is the only thing that protected it. Ah well I took the risk knowing this possibility.

    2weeks to arrive to Melbourne. Box was packed with close fitting cardboard no bubble wrap. Lego box fine, although the tape on original was coming off, so easily opened. I think that is more a Lego issue. Happy with item.
