      Sure you did.

God forbid someone tries to provide people with more information. I agree, you're literally better off drinking full sugar coke. At least your body can process the sugar, aspartame on the other hand..

From the article "But according to results published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, those in the study who consumed artificially sweetened beverages were 20 percent more likely to suffer heart disease, stroke, or heart attacks than those avoiding sweetened drinks altogether."

They don't talk about the participants weight and general fitness. They don't talk about people often switching to sugar free drinks after a lifetime of excessive sugar intake and how the "more likely" is due to their eating habbits prior. There is massive rhetoric around the sugar free products but there's no substance to it. Whenever I look into this topic it's more feelings than fact. Its a joke at this point.

Sorry about the rant but I'm one of these fat f'ers that has done more damage with sugar to my body than if i swam in a vat of coke zero and let the acid cook me. There's a ton of health freaks that live by the "natural" slogan but have no concept about the science behind anything they complain about. Good for them, but actually look into it before saying anything is worse than refined sugar.
