Similar to our current T-shirts competition but (1) smaller prizes, but (2) hopefully much less effort.
We all have full of those disposable surgical face masks littered in our bins due to COVID19. I have no idea how long the pandemic is going to last but some of us would still be wearing these in the foreseeable future. So, instead of T-shirt, maybe we should have an OzBargain designed face mask?
Here's the competition to design an OzBargain themed face mask, using the back of a disposable mask! We will be giving some cash / gift card prizes to the top 3 designs ($150, $100 & $50), and 10x $20 gift cards to the next best 10 entries.
The winning design may or may not be produced into an actual mask. Not sure whether people would want to wear an OzBargain mask in the public though.
Terms and Conditions
Duration
- Competition closes on Friday 13 November 2020 at 11:59PM. All entries must be submitted before the closing date.
- Moderators may take up to a week to discuss and rate the entries, winners will be announced on Friday 20 November 2020.
Eligibility
- The entrant must be an OzBargain member with an active OzBargain account who currently resides in Australia.
- NOT limited to Australian states that currently have lock down restrictions.
- OzBargain employees are ineligible.
- Overseas members are ineligible.
Design Guidelines
- Design must fit on a rectangle area on a typical disposable face mask measuring 17x9.5cm.
- Design must be related to OzBargain. For example featuring the logo, well known meme, etc.
- Design must be drawn on a disposable face mask, preferably the one you have just used & about to be thrown away. Do not use MS Paint or other editing software to digitally design your OzBargain mask — those will be rejected.
- Using copyright content without permission will result in invalidation of your entry, please only submit original works. You are permitted to use OzBargain logo in your designs.
Method of Entry
- Feel free to discuss the competition in this competition post. However, do not submit your design in the comments (unless you are happy to lend your ideas to others).
- Take a photo of your design on a disposable face mask, and then email it to [email protected] with title "Face Mask Competition Entry from <OzBargain username>". Feel free to include an explanation for the design.
- Maximum 1 entry per person. Additional submissions will be rejected.
Prizes
- 1x $150 PayPal funds (or gift card from GiftPay) for the winning entry.
- 1x $100 & 1x $50 PayPal funds (or gift card from GiftPay) for the 2 runner ups.
- 10x $20 PayPal funds (or gift card from GiftPay) for the next top 10 participants.

Winners Announcement
Announcing it a day earlier as I am doing it together with the T-shirt comp. We have 48 ozbargainers participate in this competition and these are the top 13 winning entries, as voted by the OzBargain staff.
