Hey Guys, thought I'd share this, looks quite cool. $40 for a wall sticker clock, over 180 to choose from, the link is http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/national-deal/-nomorefees-/7…. It ends in 6 hours but I've found them going for 103 hours more here http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/christmas/-nomorefees-/71590…. Only ones I could find on the net were in the 50-60 mark plus shipping. Might be a good xmas pressie for someone!

  • $40 for vinyl stickers and cheap clock mechanism isn't a bargain.

    Also: Groupon.

    • cool….. so you've seen them cheaper

      post the link

        Point missed

nah… surely he/she must have seen them cheaper somewhere else, otherwise they'd be basing the neg on a personal opinion…. which would be against the voting guidelines… They've been a member long enough to know that.

While you’re more than welcome to express your personal opinion against a deal, this alone should not be used as a reason to vote negative.
negative votes purely based on pricing requires caution. Are you imposing your set of values on another in the community?

          ie http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Digitale-Home-Decor-Removable-DIY…
          under $33 shipped
          even has the same picture

        • well done that man :)

as sbob pointed out, cheaper on ebay. in any case, $40 seems expensive for a clock and some stickers

        • +1

Mind you, that eBay sale sbob found is only for one item, not clear if there are more. Though I see he seems to specialise in a range of sticker clocks. Still I wouldn't pay $40 for this deal. Perhaps that seller is smart, getting rid of an unwanted item

    Looks tacky.

Or buy any cheap $2 clock and rip it apart for the mechanism, add your own front to it, get some hands from a larger clock, put it together, stick it on the wall, and get any old number stickers and put them on the wall.
    Job done for under $10
    ;-)

    • All well in theory, but you'd most likely find a small, cheap mechanism would struggle to move bigger hands than it was designed for. If you're replacing the face anyway, simply making the face smaller than the radius of the hands would give the same effect.

      From their site:

Note: The picture is not to scale and may make a clock look larger or smaller than it really is. Please check the dimensions carefully to prevent disappointment.

      Hardly surprising.
