It's that time of the month where I'm back with another Romoss power bank deal. This time there are 3 with fast charging and 2 with standard charging.

The SW30 Pro, SW20 and LT20PS+ power banks feature multiple fast charging technologies including 18W USB-PD via USB-C, Quick Charge 3.0 via the blue USB port and 5V/2.1A via the white USB port. For recharging they have USB-PD via USB-C, QC 3.0 via Micro USB and 5V/2.1A via Lightning. Other fast charging technologies supported include Huawei FCP, Samsung AFC (excl. some S9/S10), QC2.0 and Apple 2.4A, as well as pass-through charging.

The remaining 2 power banks have standard 5V/2.1A charging and do not feature the 18W USB-PD found in the other 3. Please refer to each listing to see other features, e.g. dimensions, ports, display showing battery level, fast charging active etc.

AU stock and free shipping with Prime (or orders over $39).

  • Any deal on 40000 variety ?

    • No plans for that one yet.

  • +3

Ordered the 26,800 version. Already have a 20K portable charger but for $30 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • +1

Bought one of these during Prime Day and am very happy with it. Charges my Switch and MacBook pro.

      • Does it charge the switch while playing?

      • So the 26800 version charges a macbook pro?

It doesn't say so in the description page
        https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07TYW1FPT

        • +4

USB-PD will charge but since it's limited to 18W it'll charge slower and it's recommended that you use something higher. Typically 45W or above.

  • Finally, had been waiting for a deal on the 26,800 version !

  • finally bit the bullet

  • How do these compare with Xiaomi? I have had a 20000 Xiaomi for around 2 years and still going strong, like the reliability, same experiences with this brand?

    • I had a 20,000 one for a while, these are excellent. I had 5,000 and 10,000 versions of Xiaomi to compare.

    • This is a good brand. Can't say for sure now, Older models used Samsung battery cells

  • nice price on the 26,800 one, bought one.

  • Wonder how this compares to the 10K Xiaomi, good price…

  • Would the 26800 charge up a surface pro?

    • +1

Limited to 18W so I'd recommend something with 45W or higher.

  • What is the difference between the sw20 & lt20ps? So far only difference I see if dimensions and weight… But is there any functional differences? Thanks.

    • Purely dimensions and weight. The rest remains the same.

    • I bought the LT20PS+ as its lighter and smaller

      • SW20 seems lighter?

  • +1

I bought this a little while back. Quick charge never worked. It charges extremely slow regardless of what cable I use. Usually tells me I have less than 1 amp

    • oh no - which one did you get?

    • That sounds like the cable. I tested seven cables and threw three in the bin as they would only let one amp through. The units work fine, unless it is a counterfeit.

      • Nah. Tried 6 cables and all the same thing. Tried the same cables on my other power bank and it fast charges fine and gets full amps.

Different amps too. The QC usb port gives 0.5 amps, the smart charge port gives 0.9 amps.

Just a faulty power bank. But it didn't cost much so not too fussed.

  • It says it is $43 am I doing something wrong?

    • You need to apply the coupon.

      • Oh ok thanks

  • Sw20 vs LT20PS+ ?

Identical price and capacity; which is more suited for which scenario?

    • Dimensions and weight basically.

      • Same charge chips and everything?

        Literally just shape?

        • PD ? maybe ? i can't see power deliuvery on the SW20 item title

          also the release date

          • @langitbiru: I bought the LT20PS+ as its lighter and smaller.

            • @techno2000: I was about to, but I noticed it lacks fast charging of ITSELF, and also lacks the FIT+ rating on the normal USB port, so I'll need to use USBC-USBC to get PD and such.

              https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1XgskU5f4k

This video explains it well; and the SW20 is FIT+ where the LT20PS+ is simply a 'fast charger'.
At least, according to their own labeling.

              EDIT:
BUUUT their specs disagree with their photos.
My god what a nightmare of a marketing team >< lol

  • Can you please confirm if any of your power banks fast charge S9 S10? What about newer ones like S20? Cheers

    • Some people say they do while others say they don't. I personally can't say for certain.

    • +1

I have the Sense 8+ and it fast charges Note 20 Ultra through USB-A to C and USBC To C.

    • +1

I got the SW30 Pro on Prime Day. Just plugged it into S20+, 9.2V & 1.6A according to the power bank display. 3A with AccuBattery on the phone. Have a TC66 Type-C Display Tester also showing 9.2V & 1.6A.

    • Doesn't work with my s20

  • These look great and I’d grab one of the 26K if I hadn’t just bought two of the Target-branded 12K powerbanks for $10 ea. and was pleased to find they charge my MBP without problem (albeit only when on standby because they are limited to 18W). Each one does ~60% of the battery, so having both means I can get a full top-up if needed.

  • Can I use this to charge fujifilm camera x-t3? They recommend anker

But I know some people use other brand, I am not good about battery spec

  • These are great. I have the 26000 and love it. Mine stopped charging a few months after I got it. I contacted the seller who asked for proof and then sent me a replacement. Very happy with the customer service. Warranty for 12 months I believe

  • I ordered one of the 10000mAh ones back on 4 September but it never arrived (even though it says delivered)

    • Did you contact Amazon?

      • yes. Last week and they refunded payment as gift card.

        • Good. Since this is Fulfilled by Amazon, Romoss don't have anything to do with the processing, packing and shipping of the order.

  • I had the 20k SW20. Overall happy, well built, fairly heavy (440g) and convenient with multiple input port. The only downside for me is it charged my iphoneX via lightning cable only at 7.5W

    • +1

Try a USB-C To Lightning cable. It should be faster.

      • hi OP, can i use my 12v ipad charger to charge this battery? or can i use my xiaomi redmi 9 pro charger to charge this battery ?

        • Yep both would be fine.

          • @Clear: Would a MacBook Pro 65w USB-C charger be ok to charge the SW30?

            • @koo88: Definitely.

          • @Clear: Thanks OP, had bought one and received it already, super quick shipping. Just wonder, i tried using existing my USB-C to USB-C cable, but it seems like it is not working?

Is my USB-C cable too weak? do you have a proper link where to buy USB-C to USB-C which is compatible with the PD ?

  • what's the recommendation for a light Qc3.0 capable 10k mah powerbank. I already have a ZMi qb822 that caters for more heavy duty PD charging.

  • Any deal on Sense4 mini?

    • Yes it's in the post.

  • Good brand , nice find

  • I have the LT20PS plus and I can say that it's pretty darn good.

Has 2 outputs which I use for my tablet and keyboard on the fly when needed and I can't really complain much.

I have 4 of the 20A Xiaomi batteries and 2 10A batteries and this is just as good.

    Can recommend

  • I've never seen the black version go on sale :(

  • I have de sw20 and can't say how good it is, usually i charge 2 phones at same time no problem.
the only con's it is a little heavy but what do you expect?

  • purchased late yesterday, received this before lunchtime. charging my redmi now

    looks good

  • I connect the ROMOSS LTPS20+ with USB C to USB C (provided from my Ronin SC), but it seems like not working, is this normal? or i need a better quality USB C to USB C

    • My LTPS20+ is charging my Ipad Air 3 pathetically slowly from both the usb A ports. I am not interested in trying a usb c to lightning cable. My Xiaomi powerbank and even the Kogan powerbank have no problems in charging the Ipad Air 3 at a much faster rate from Usb A ports.

I am going to return this powerbank.
I liked the LCD screen and the fact that it had 3 types of inputs but its failed in its primary purpose.

  • Mine arrived today, with 72% charge in it but it flattened itself charging my phone from 5% to 80%. Very concerning as it should be able to charge my phone 8+ times over. Will recharge the power bank to full and see if it works better the second time around.
