  • I think I paid around this much when I asked for a deal at JB Hifi previously since my car only has USB C ports… but given the USB C to Lightning cables are now included in the new iPhone boxes (as well as Airpod Pro), I think there's probably a lot more cables out there.

Yes, this cable is not so enticing now it is included with every new iPhone 12. Need a deal on the 2m cable instead please.

      • This cable comes with new iPhone 11's now too per Apple's website.

its high time apple adopt USB C ports for all its devices (min of Pro devices)

    • Doubt they ever will for iPhones if they haven't bothered to already and just went through a redesign while retaining lightening, at the same time they transitioned additional iPads to USB-C. I imagine they'll drop the port entirely and use wireless charging for the phones in 12 - 24 months.

Saving the environment by not providing charger and headphones in the box for newer iphones is totally bullshit. If Apple could have really cared about environment, they could change lightning to usb c because most of the people's devices already have usb c port and they have usb c cable around as well.

  • Will officeworks use the $10 postage against me for price match?

Edit - not a deal for those who need it posted from umart e.g. vic

Our Price Beat Guarantee includes products you find online - as long as the item is identical and in stock. When assessing the PBG from online stores we also take into account the added cost of delivery to your location (if any). If the identical, in stock product can be purchased and delivered to your location via an online store for a total price lower than the one we are offering, we will beat that total price by 5%.

  • LOL @ free store pickup. Is this something that they could ever charge a customer for?

    • Some stores only offer delivery. Just informing that pick up is an option for those that want to price match at Officeworks.

      • Which stores charge the customer to pick up their goods?

        • Quicksilver.

In-Store Pick Up orders under $50.00 will be charged a $5.00 fee, In-Store Pick Up orders over $50.00 are free of charge.

          • @[Deactivated]: Shit, Quicksilver still exist! I thought they went bankrupt. No wonder they have to charge a pickup fee.
