I'll try again in the morning. I've confirmed this works from my friend who ordered this earlier.

Edit: I'm able to add the item to my cart now (Thursday morning), and the page after you fill out your address details (The Review and place order page) shows the coupon discount being applied, and there is $0.00 charge including shipping.

This offer is still valid too. I think only for new accounts who haven't already claimed. I got 1 credit for free photobook. Shipping is not free however

    • I made up a second account and when I put the code in the cart it says "We don't recognize the coupon code you entered. Please re-type it."

      • You don't put the code in the card. You use it to claim your credit. Once your account has the credit you just do the normal checkout.

    • That's for a photo BOOK - this is a photo BLOCK :)
      Good find though.

  • Just want to give a thumbs up to the live support. Needed assistance at 10pm last night and a very helpful person helped!

  • Ordered mine :) The hardest bit is choosing the photo!

  • clicked the link, and it said at the bottom, "Thank you but this promotion has now ended." :(

    I got two :D
i called them yesterday so they manually applied the credits to my account

and then a day later they sent out emails including a new redemption code to users who they believe were affected by the system error.

    win

When I clicked on the picture the op uploaded, it says 'This promotion has now ended'. Congrats to all who got one!

  • Has anyone claimed theirs yet and their status says shipped. Mines still in progress. I also claimed a photobook from another promo after the block and that's been shipped already.

  • This is actually working again. I just did this and it has added it to my cart and nothing says that it is closed now. :D

  • Recieved mine :) Its basically a phto glued onto the wood

    • any pictures?

    • photo on a block of wood

      =

      photo block

      • I was more interested to know whether it has been wrapped around the edges like it shows on the display.

        • I started emailing my gift recipient to ask that, looked at the Snapfish site again, and they no longer show a block with wraparound.

        • Something fishy is going on. They have removed the image of the block with the wraparound picture and replaced it with another one.

  • Got my photobook from snapfish. The quality has really gone down since i ordered last time. The pictures are much darker for whatever reason and grainy. Nothing wrong with the prints i ordered with the same photos.

  • Are you sure the promotion has ended? My parents just grabbed one today.

  • yeah this definitely not what they showed, i saw a transparent block with the photo behind it, instead i got a photo stuck to a wood block that's not even a 'frame', there's nothing covering the photo and the frame is like 2cm thick! the part about the white/black border colour was the clue, they goofed on the stock photo! but it was free, so thanks snapfish

    • Well tbh, that is the picture of the item you added to the cart, just not on the promo screen. The promo pic was never transparent, the photo just wrapped around the edges of the block.

  • Got mine. Looks great, high resolution. Very happy considering it was a freebie.

  • Got mine today. As a freebie i'd say thumbs up. Very practical thing. But if i to pay $15 for it then thumbs down. Finishing isn't the best. It's literally a printed photo pasted onto a block. The whiter ones have better finish then the black one. Thank OP.

    • Agreed. Happy that I got it for free. However the edges of the photo are poorly cut and uneven. Looks like someone cut the edges of mine by hand with a pair of scissors to match it with the block after they stuck it on. Would not pay $15 for this. Quality of the actual photo is good.

  • This was a great freebie, although the delivery guy woke me up early on Saturday Morning:(

Pretty cool gift for someone for Christmas

  • Fail block. Does not match the photo block on the site. (Surprise..they changed the picture)

  • Just signed up for it as I forgot to when I first saw the deal. Appears the offer still works. REMOVED EXPIRED.

  • silly question but did u guys get the correct photo on your photobooks?

I got a photo of a different family of a mum and her two daughters (i assume). Definately not what I uploaded and ordered

    • I got the correct photo. Wow that is bad… you should definitely complain to snapfish!

    • +1

      Are the daughters hot?

      • lol - we were thinkin about putting a photo of myself in a compromising position as a joke pressie… lucky we didnt!

complained to Snapfish who will send out another one and gave me a reply paid address to send it back to. Apprently its "actually a fairly rare occurrence" which is quite concerning

    • And a Mum and her two daughters got a picture of Mr Shorty?

      • +1

unfortuntely so.. wonder who the lucky recipient was! :p

  • it's a little disappointing to read it's a photo on a piece of wood.
who in the right mind would pay $15 for it.

I too thought it was a clear block with photo stuck on the back.
Just ordered, still waiting for mine.

Its interesting when you google the promo, the bury says it's a acrylic photo block
i think they did a bait and switch.

  • Mine was generally bad quality and the edges obviously damaged in shipping. Would certainly not pay $15 for one of these things.
