  Minions are definitely not an investment coin, but rather collectible and/or gift giving. Collectible coins come in a much smaller mintage, full packaging and different, higher quality (called proof finish) than investment coins.
  
  Also, for the record, the abc bullion coin you referred to is technically not a coin, but a silver round, since it doesn't have any legal tender status (no queen and no denomination).
