Saw this on Amazon, thought I’d put it to Ozb since there doesn’t seem to be a current deal for AA.

Probably not as cheap as it’s ever been but still a good deal considering it’s from Amazon (tried purchasing from Camera House once but they did t bother to tell me it was out of it delayed stock so I had to contact them for a refund)

Looks like it’s made in Japan from the pic.

lol I would go for Amazon's stock

    • Thanks for picking that up and fixing!

  • And this is only the 2000mAh one… IKEA's one is cheaper and has higher capacity (although quality is different, of course)

  • Why put prime at start of title

im using coles aa rechargeable and so far so good. enloops is def better, but not 3 times better imo.

    • I think I like this option better because when they die you can just buy another pack and still be in front.

    • how are they compare with aldi?

  • Problem with Ikea AA batteries is they are slightly "fatter" than the standard battery. They wouldn't fit in a device I had.

    • That's simply not true.

I can confirm these Made In Japan Version's Eneloops are pretty rubbish, I had bought them about a year ago and didn't use them much at all, now 3 out of 8 had stopped charging, yes I am using the original eneloops charger as well.

    • Probably not the fault of the batteries.

Some of the eneloop chargers are smart chargers, but most of them are "dumb" chargers that will damage your batteries. What is the model of your charger, it should be written on the sticker on the back of the charger.

      • I'm guessing he either got a bad batch or fake eneloops

Agree. I have eneloops from waaaaaaay back in the Dick Smith days which are still chargin' and performin'.

I use either my Nitecore D4 or LiitoKala Lii-500 smart chargers - highly recommended.
