Welcome to the cesspool of OzB "community" these days. This fork in the thread reminds me why I'm increasingly looking at, and participating in, the comments by exception only these days.
As for posting deals, the Discord server is faster with the deals, is far less angsty, is spam-free, there's no arbitrary moderator decisions etc. And any of the genuine deals get carried across anyway.
I genuinely believe OzB has jumped the shark. RIP OzB.

Beating by $1 is hardly anything to post about. Beating a massive department store by $1 is even less so.
David Jones is available in every state and has much better policies and service to look after you. I would shop at and support a bigger store any day of the week, as i know they'll support me better should any issues occur.

That $1 does matter. OW are quick to update their pricing to match competitors to avoid having to price match.
There was a deal posted last week JB had it for $399. OW quickly updated their pricing that day. Went in unknowingly and OW refused to price match since they updated their pricing to discount by $1. Luckily i was able to find mobileciti which had it for $1 less and with 5%, turned out to be $377 price matched.
