4A. “Exceptions”:
(a) This offer cannot be stacked with any other offer offered to you in whole or part by Viva Energy. If you present any other Viva Energy funded fuel discount offer for redemption from any other party e.g. flybuys, Shell Racing Team app (in addition to the fuel discount offer from carsales), only the highest cents per litre fuel discount barcode will be redeemable. If all the Viva Energy funded fuel discount offers have the same cents per litre discount value, then only the first fuel discount offer presented will be redeemed.
(b) This Promotion does not apply to LPG, or Adblue products in any State or Territory. However such product exclusions may vary from time to time at Viva Energy’s discretion with prior notice. Any applicable product exclusions will be set out at in the carsales App or carsales website.
(c) Fuel discount offer rates are subject to change at Viva Energy’s discretion with prior notice from time to time. The applicable fuel discount offer rate will be set out at in the carsales App or carsales website.
(d) The initial once-off cent per litre fuel discount is not redeemable in Western Australia and does not apply to Diesel (However for the avoidance of doubt the ‘ongoing cent per litre discount’ is redeemable in Western Australia and does include Diesel).*6. The redemption steps are that you must, within the Promotion Period: (i) Be a carsales member; (ii) Follow the directions on the carsales App or website to activate the discount offer. Eligible Claimants are required (amongst others things) to enter the details of a vehicle they own into the carsales membership “virtual garage” and provide that vehicle’s odometer reading; (iii) For the:
(A) initial once-off cent per litre fuel discount: a. Visit any Shell Coles Express service station in Australia (excluding Western Australia); and b. fill up your vehicle with no more than 150 litres with any Shell fuel (excluding Diesel, LPG and AdBlue); and
(B) ongoing cents per litre discount: a. Visit any Shell Coles Express service station in Australia; and b. fill up your vehicle with no more than 150 litres with any Shell fuel (excluding LPG and AdBlue or any other excluded product set out at in the carsales App or carsales website); and (iv) Enter the Shell Coles Express service station store, whilst in-store and: (A) have a smartphone or tablet screen with internet connection, and access to the offer on the carsales App or website whilst in-store at the relevant Shell Coles Express service station or have a clear print out of the [barcode page] from your carsales account on the carsales website; and (B) present the discount barcode (on your smartphone or tablet screen, or on your print out of the discount barcode) under the customer facing barcode reader when ready to pay for the fuel.
Subject to the Exceptions, the discount will be automatically applied to the fuel price. Pay the discounted price for the fuel.*7. Each discount barcode may be used only during the ‘Promotion Period’ and will expire once it has been used. To obtain a new fuel discount barcode, you must follow the instructions on the carsales App or carsales website to refresh the discount page. New discount barcodes are not refreshed instantaneously upon redemption or expiry - new discount barcodes may be made available approximately one day after the use or expiration of a discount barcode. However: (a) no further discount barcodes will be made available on the final day of this Promotion; and (b) Viva Energy and/or carsales may cease making new discount barcodes available up to 30 days leading up to the expiry and/or termination of this Promotion.
