    TGA Approved. ARTG ID: 343540

    Lies. TGA will allow anyone to register a product but TGA does not "approve" the mask.

    FDA

    More Lies. FDA never approves washable/re-useable facemasks.

      Question…. Wouldnt they have to submit reports of testing or evidence that the mask would comply with Australian Standards for the TGA to register the product?

      They wouldnt just register every product, or else eveyone would just submit their products for registration?

      I get what you are saying that 'approved' is misleading, but if its registered it would have to have some merit?

      Edit I think i've answered my own question. Products can be registered if the supplier meets the criteria set by the TGA. The TGA doesnt test all products (im assuming they must have some auditing process, but it would be impossible to test everything) So whilst a product may be registered, its possible that it may not meet the criteria.
      (I am not suggesting this product does not meet its requirements for it to be registered with the TGA. It's more a comment on the process)

      • Google it: Quality Fade

        The product sample submitted NOW may be "top-notch" but the quality will not be the same several shipments later.

    • Title edited, I was actually putting TGA registered in the body, honest mistake, apologise for that

      • Still being charged $10 for delivery at checkout !?

        Isn't this deal supposed to be 3 for $15 Delivered, as in the Title/Description?

  • Coming up at 3 for $20 for me?

    Deceptive marketing. Just because it's 'appoved' doesn't mean it's tested it's just on the register they test randomly after the fact

    Also from the TGA website,

    Promoting a product as "TGA approved", or including other government endorsements, whether it is included in the ARTG or not, is a violation of the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.

      You can't just change the Ozbargain post and leave TGA Approved all over your website.

    When you go to checkout it adds $10 for delivery - so, 3 for $15 Delivered, is a load of bollocks.

    • +1

      I'll check this, shouldn't be adding shipping. Thanks for the feedback

    • 3 for $15 Delivered, is a load of bollocks.

    What are the dimensions of the panels?

    • Hi, yes it has metal nosebridge. I have updated the OP to include the dimension

  • TGA Registered Surgical Reusable Masks, 3 for $15 Delivered @ HealthcareXpress

    Doesn't have any reference to "Surgical" on your website… but you claim in your title.

    • Hi, it's registered as surgical mask under ARTG 343540. You can search publicly accessible register here

  • Even though it's only available in one size, the dimensions of the mask would be handy (ie. Height and Width in cm) to determine whether it would be a good fit.

      Length = 225mm
      Width = 130mm

      I will update this in the post
