Forget about the iPhone 12 with this. Purchased mine at 12:01 and still may not get mine on release (praying). All technology purchases of 2020 have been quite burdensome so far.

    • As long as I get my PS5 on Thursday morning like planned I’ll be happy.

iPhone 12’s come up barely any difference then rrp with points + pay

    • +2

The discount is only off the points, not the pay. As an example: iPhone 12 mini 64GB has 50k points off (with 15% sale and 10% points club). Brings it down from 208k to 159k.

  • 75cents per point. Site is down … for some reason

    • +2

      0.75c?

    • Not sure how you're getting 0.75 cents per point? e.g. for the iphone pro 128gb, RRP is $1699, or 251,150 points —-> 0.67 cents per point

iPhone Pro Max 128GB => Retail Price $1,849, Points => 245,993 (after 15% off and 10% points plus club discount) so comes out to be 0.75c per point.

Noritake Marc Newson by Noritake 16pce 18/10 Stainless Steel Cutlery Set 16 Piece Silver for 13,689 points is a good deal. Its sold by most for $129 retail, so you're close to 1 cent per point for this one.

    • Except they're bloody horrible to use :P

  • how much do i have to spend to get 412K pts for iPhone 12 Pro Max 512GB?

    • +1

You will have to spend $412,000 with a credit card that earns exactly 1 QFF point per $ spent to get that shiny iPhone :D

    • @webtherapist
You can buy top up points for $54 for 1,000 Qantas Points (you are paying 5.4c per point)! The price comes down a bit—right down to ~2.5c per point if you buy the max 150,000 Qantas Points for $3,726 so yeah QFF points are such value for money :-p

Churn out creditcards with QFF bonus points.

    • I can't find the iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB on the Qantas store. Is it sold out?

      • Looks like it is, as its the most sought after model.

An iPhone, or two return business class tickets to Asia (e.g. Singapore is opening up gradually).

$2k now vs $10k later. I know which option I'm choosing.

    • It will probable be $7K later, depending on the depreciation rate of Qantas points.

  • If you pay half with points, do you get a tax invoice or text deductions?

  • Pro Max have been ozbargained

  • 15% is good, but was 20% a few wks back! might hold out and see what they do for BF/CM

  • Thanks op. I ended up ordering the Essteele Per Domani 28cm Open French Skillet.
