Capsules seem cheap, though I'm buying bulk loads more often than I can drink coffee lol

    • I wait till they’re on sale at the supermarket then buy a dozen boxes.
I do use 2 capsules per cup so quite expensive.

      • I think this is pretty cheap no, maybe on par with the last Amazon deal?

I think like you I have to start doing double shots 👍👍👍

        • Yes, cheap as supermarkets. About 2 months ago woollies had them for $7. Pretty rare to be that low.

I have flat white so need it to be stronger. Manually stop it before it gets straw colour. Just burning the grind otherwise.

Lavazza $15 per kilo regularly at colesworth.
Compares well to capsule cost but not as convenient I guess.
I don't like the taste of capsule coffee, but so what.

^ This. Regular price is $15 for a bag is indeed the ordinary rate. Having to purchase two at $20 each on the regular cycle is not a deal unless you're desperately coffee-thirsty.

Thanks OP, got the capsules. Works out pretty cheap at 0.25 per capsule.

  • Anyone having any comments on the capsule machines?

I'm looking for one around $100, and not sure if I should get this one, or this one from JB https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/delonghi-nespresso-en85-w… with the 11% off

Anyone have an opinion on which brand ecosystem is better to be a part of?

    • No idea but I'm curious too.

So far been pointed towards nespresso stuff at the good guys and this.

Want something cheap, convenient and easy to use and maintain.

      • I ended up getting the one from JB.

From what I've found there's a lot more in the nespresso-compatible capsule range from 3rd parties, and the range at coles/woolies looks bigger.

        • I think this was also my finding years ago when I was thinking about getting some pods and a pod machine.

Nespresso just has a nice ring to it too very nice good brand great reputation I suppose and thinking something is actually good is sometimes the half of it.

  • Literally just bought a
Machine for work and missed this deal!
