For anyone interested in knowing a little bit more about us as a company and our history, here is a brief overview:

We’ve been running for almost 30 years in Melbourne. The business started out as a Sheepskin tannery back in the 90’s in Melbourne, which tanned and manufactured a large range of sheepskin products, (think moccasins, Ugg boots, rugs, baby care products, car seat covers etc). Initially, we were manufacturers for private labels only and supplied to a number of national retailers as well as small businesses around Australia. Due to economic changes, we had to move most of our manufacturing overseas as it wasn’t viable to continue.

Our business still continues to manufacture a limited range of footwear and tailor-made sheepskin car seat covers here at our factory in Vermont, Victoria. We do a lot of custom footwear for those not able to fit into regular boots. We've helped a few people here in the OzBargain community make some shoes for those with special/medical needs.

You're welcome to visit us and we can show you through what we do here. Our small team here in Vermont have collectively been in the industry for a long time.

If you're wondering how we continue to support the local Aussie economy, we still continue to buy the raw Australian sheepskin hides here in Melbourne, but have them now tanned overseas. We also do our part by supplying local manufacturers with the ‘double-face sheepskin’, which is the industry name for sheepskin hides used to manufacture ugg boots.
