Firmware 2.2 should add support for CFExpress HOWEVER I have never heard of this brand before and personally it's a hard sell to save a little money on 256GB and risk actually losing my shots. while i wait for CFExpress card prices to drop, I'm relying instead on 128GB XQD from SONY G, which has never ever failed on me.
Used Angelbird CFex 512GB in my R5 for the last 2 months. Hasn't missed a beat. Got the card reader too. Very highly recommended and widely used in the US industry.
