Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless V1 $149.95 @ Sennheiser

1140

Give your ears an orgasm. They deserve it.

Cheaper than the previous deal that is now marked as expired.

Yes, battery drain is an issue, and you need to recharge these more often than your vibrator, but personally I think these are still (subjectively) the best sounding true wireless buds around. And at least for my ears, they fit the best. The 1000XM3s hurt a bit.

For $150, a daily charge like your phone isn’t that bad of a compromise. $499 RRP is definitely bull though.

Postage is free.

Apparently you can stick a cheap USB C into the case and it will stop the discharge. If that does actually work, these are definitely worth the price.

Interesting action that removed my negative vote. I own a set of these and they are not very good. Not sure why the censorship? I will not comment in the future until an explanation is provided. Your loss!

    • It's valid to cast a negative vote if you have an "issue with the product", because it "does not work the way it should". I think the battery problems people have mentioned in other comments would meet that level if they're true, but if enough people downvote your comment, then your negative vote is automatically removed. If you gave some corroboration of the battery problems in your comment, you probably wouldn't have been downvoted.

  • How often do these have to be charged?

I honestly would use them at the gym, and I normally leave these in my gym bag. The current ones I have only have to charged once every 3 to 4 weeks, if that.

I bought a USB c plug from this eBay seller.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/164405021780

(Not affiliated just found the cheapest and based in Australia)

    • The listing has all three plug types (Type-C, Micro-USB, Lightning) written everywhere except in
      Item specifics - Type: Micro-USB

Here's a few listing that maybe useful.
      https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_nkw=type+c+magnetic+head…

      • USB C, MICRO USB, iPhone Lighting. PLUGS ONLY
Suit magnetic charging cables (also for sale)

looks like you just got the plugs, but not the charging cable.
so, it actually will works to fix the issue, you just wont be able to charge with it :D (unless you buy the cable of course)

  • can people that own this please comment if the plug actually fixes the battery drain issue?

Kinda of but not really. They last about 4 days instead of one. So it’s definitely not a proper fix.

      • They last about a week even without the USB-C plug. Definitely not only 1 day.

        • You must have a special version unlike the rest of us.
