Those who are tempted - skip this phone and buy the S20 FE 5G with Snapdragon.

    • Preferably 5G 256GB version that has 8GB RAM.

        thats the only version snapdragon

No. 5G 128GB is also SD version.

I'd take this advise with a pinch of salt since the S20 FE 5G seems to be having some touch screen issues. Granted its not affecting all devices, and also Samsung has said they should be able to fix this with a software update. Ymmv.

      • Using S20 FE 5G 256GB since it was released. Haven't faced any issues at all. Also didn't receive any updates apart from one security update for Oct.

        • You may not have experienced the issues, but they are there - not everyone's usage will necessarily trigger them. All FEs are affected by it, and it's almost certainly a hardware fault at this point. Samsung are doing their best to bandaid fix it, but should that really be acceptable on a $1,000 phone?

Good phone otherwise. I returned mine because of the issues, but would have gladly kept it otherwise.

      • Personally at this stage of the year, I’d wait for next generation of phones. Even Samsung lower tier next generation chip is better than the snapdragon 865. With that being said even my older phone with much slower chip still performs well and gets excellent battery life.

I thought $400. Lol. Worid is ending if it is $400.

Exynos. When will Samsung get rid of it, will s21 comes with SD875?

    • They are saying the next-gen Exynos is actually faster than next-gen Snapdragon, but only the time will tell.

      • Yeah speed isn't personally my concern, ridiculous battery drain is.

Will be a few generations before they iron out the kinks (if they do). Would rather just stay away from it altogether.

      • The next generation chips will be more efficient than current generation too. Yeah I see no point in buying new Android phones at this stage of the year.

I believe this price will come down very soon, new S21 will be announced and release Jan 2021. I mean, next month is end of the year already so…
