Why doesn't Bunnings sell Ozito Reciprocating saws anymore?

I bought an Ozito kit a while back with 2 drills and 2 batteries, and now I want a reciprocating saw that uses the same batteries, but Bunnings doesn't have them anymore…
I saw some deals on here not long ago, so I guess they were cleared out, and I regret not getting one. But why would they phase out such a common tool?

What did Bunnings say when you asked them?

To ask OzBargain obviously, otherwise OP would not have had to create this post.

    • Too many court cases.

When I click that, I get taken to a generic "Our Range" home page…

      • Huh. It goes straight to the reciprocating saw for me

Maybe your browser has the page cached.

I get redirected to "Our Range" too.

          • @Blue Cat: No it requires the store to have the item in stock

@thedavemiester what store is the site using for you? We should all be able to change to that store to see the listing

Sorry forgot to come back. Looks like none in SA.

They might be having production problems, like lots of stuff in the world since covid

  • Yeah, not showing up in my local store in S.A.

    • How do you know the OP shops at your Bunnings?

      • Just confirming Fincky's comment about "some stores". I checked stock at my nearest 3 stores. None showing stock.

    • I'm in SA too, Rural

FYI The Ryobi one is brilliant. One of most used tools, along with the Impact driver they have. Far more grunt than the current Ozito one I used last week.

    Hey nuttapillar
My comments (above) were deleted because we're not allowed to sell stuff in the comments (which is fair enough). Didn't even think about it like that. Was just trying to help. You can always PM me if you're interested.

I just bought one at Bunnings today for$49.98. They had quite a few. Maybe price matching Aldi.
