If you want to work out BMI you can do that using a calculator online. If you want to work out BF% you should really be doing skin fold measurements and using an online calculator. You can then work out how accurate the scale is if you have true calcs to compare with.
For this price it is fantastic. I use mine only for weight tracking.
I have no idea about the quality or readings of this Xiaomi unit, but I can highly recommend the Renpho units. Seem to be accurate and reliable, and that's good enough for me. Can usually be had for around $25
Be aware. Item not recieved from the last sale. Kogan have no idea what happened to the dispatching of my scale.
Still awaiting dispatch, will be asking for a refund.
Unfortunately I have one of these and it's reading as 26kg with nothing on it, then 26kg higher when you stand on it. Haven't been able to reset or fix it
So tempted to get this, but seeing your all comments makes me think otherwise. Has this give you any of you guys correct reading?

Perhaps I can use the $10 voucher I’ve received because the one I pre-ordered more than a month ago for $29 hasn’t arrived, to pay for almost half of this one as a present?
Dealing with Kogan at such a busy time might not be a good idea. They closed their customer support line (except Kogan Mobile), everything you want to ask will be via email. Also, Kogan is using Allied Express to ship my order made back on 24/Nov and so far still haven't received them and called Allied Express three - 1st call got cut off after 50 minutes waiting and 2nd call waited 1 hour and 12 minutes nobody picked up the call. The third time was lucky enough to get through but been told no idea when they can arrange the delivery, will try with the next available time slot… I thought it must be the holiday season everywhere is the same until my $12.99 iPad cover shipped from VIC via Australian Post arrived within 4 days after Kogan order, then I know the Allied Express caused the delay.
Went back to Kogan to request a full refund back on 14/Dec. and without any surprises, nothing happened yet!
An interesting thing about this Scale though, I ordered the same one when it was on sale for $24.99, on the page it shows shipping in 1-2 weeks back in Nov. after order it shows leaving the warehouse around 15th/Jan. so I waited. I saw another brand on OZbargain then I think I should cancel my order with Kogan and buy this one. A few hours after the requested email, guess what, they got the stock and get it shipped!
I was always confused why they got two almost identical product on the web at different prices, personally, I think this could be their selling strategy, trying to full fill the full price sales first then keep back ordering the special ones to clear off whatever cannot be sold at full prices - I hope my guess was wrong, but will not list Kogan/Disk Smith as my first choice if anywhere else has the same offer that I need.
These scales are OK to use as a reference point but they are not 100% accurate. If you check your weight, BF %, BMI etc everyday, you will see too much variation in either direction.
